Good morning to you all. Thank goodness it is Friday Eve!
Today is Mrs. Mac’s last day. She is retiring so that she can do some traveling with her husband, who retired last year. Her working was cramping his style! I think my days are about to be filled with however many of her duties I can get done until her replacement is located.
Mr. H had a good time yesterday. As a present to himself, he started working on his office (formerly know as the eldest’s bedroom). He located where the new doorway will be and cut out the sheetrock on the inside. Once it is framed up, he’ll cut out the living room side with not much mess. I’m ready for messes to be done with. Half my living room has been full of displaced stuff since we started the bedroom remodel. I ran into a rocking chair in the dark when we came home from church last night!
Good morning! I’m up and drinking coffee and wondering what I’m going to wear to lunch with my classmates, bridge and then a trip to the library. I’m ready for something good to read. I just finished Sue Grafton’s “V Is For Vengence,” and I always enjoy her books, but some of my favorite authors haven’t had a new book out in too long now.
Mornin!
Happy Thursday!
Mornin. I feel like crap today. I have a massive headache and nausea to go with it. Fun. But here I sit at work since I get so few paid days off and can’t afford an unpaid day. Somehow, I don’t think I will be very productive.
morning gang!
hope all have a good day!
Molly hope you get to feeling better, no fun feeling like that.
I have a friend that lost her husband this morning. He fought a long battle with his cancer and thankfully she was able to take early retirement to be with him this past year.
Morning. Been busy. It’s good to see all my ladies today. heh. The guys aren’t checking in yet. I’ve been shooting homecoming pics and now have to get the pages together. We are changing press sizes this week Will be a fun change over. Got to get back at it. Going to get Jon’s birthday present in a bit.
Sorry to hear about your friend, PM. Mollie, I hate the headaches. You certainly have my sympathy.
Homecoming this week at our high school and at EC3, where Thing 1 is in band. Chicklette has band practice tonight, EC has big pep rally tonight, parade at 430 tomorrow, ball game (w/halftime show at END of the game), band contest Saturday, homecoming game at EC3 Saturday afternoon.
Yep, gonna be busy the next 48 hours.
Popcorn?
Pfffftttshhhawww…if there is any in this house, it’s so old and stale, it ain’t worth popping.
Heh Clucky, I didn’t know Popcorn still existed :). I hope you get to enjoy some of the festivities.
CLady glad all is fun with you. Did you get your hit water back running?
Hot water, that is…
Pokes head in the door/nods approvingly over popcorn comment/glad to see everyone appears to be ok/shuts door gently/goes to work.
StealthBlues is at it again.
I couldn’t help it. I had to order the braised beef cheeks for lunch since I have never been exposed to beef cheeks before and wasn’t sure which end the cheeks were coming from. They were delicious and I’m so glad I ordered them.
I was 10 minutes late getting to the bridge game that I organize and usually get the tables set up for. Someone else got everything else out, so it was all good.
Going to meet my brother in Florence for supper. Strange I dont eat supper, but he is buying :)
Evening. Had bingo with my mens tonight. Had a slim crowd tonight. But all had fun.
It’s 10:04 P.M. We are going through re design. I got inspired. Still working. the paper does look good.
Clucky, Still no hit or hot water or even cold water for that matter in the house. :( Uncle Larry promises tomorrow will be the day. *wings are crossed*
Here’s praying for you and water CLady.
Hey Blues, glad to see you back.
3″25 a.m. Hello, it seems to be the wee hours of the morning. First.
