Have a speech at the Beau Rivage today at noon so I’ll be traveling in the wet weather. Hope all is well with you today.

Morning gang. Safe traces MR. Hubby over slept so I did get to go back to sleep this morning. This one morning I would just like to stay in bed and listen to the rain.
V
Be careful out there today.
Sitting on my front porch drinking coffee and listening to the birds and roosters. Every now and then the lion chimes in. . . and then a few dogs.
Nice.
Lion???
Yeah. LION!? We must see pictures.
Good rainy Wednesday morning. Laughing at your post about the Lions MrsH. It is nice to sit and listen to all the animalis waking up and stiring around.
Marshall safe travels with this wet stuff and to everyone else trying to get to work.
Howdy.
Day #20 at work. Got about that many more to finish.
Y’all be careful out there.
Okay Boys and Girls!!! The weather here in StL is awesome. But as in MS can change in the blink of an eye.
Two interviews this week set up by Robert Half. Both positions are direct hire which are hard to come by. First today at 1:30 and the other tomorrow at 8:30. Set up like speed-dating, 30 minutes and your out. Wish me luck, prayers and any other form of support you can think of.
My job at WashU ends on Friday. The job may be posted in about 2 weeks if the Dean approved the position. Who Knows.
Good luck! I know you can blow them away and have both potential employers fighting over you!
Wouldn’t that we sweet?? Both are paying about the same so it really could work out to my advantage.
Best wishes for you on the interviews.
“we” = “be”
If you’ve ever driven down Hwy 98 east from H’burg and seen a sign for the zoo just after you cross the Alabama line, that’s where my neighborhood lion lives. We are about a half mile from that zoo.
I thought you were just joking about the Lion—trying to see who was awake this morning. Who would have thought.
Mrs H! Really? Next time Jon and I go to the coast we will have to check that out on our way home. That’s not far at all. Do you know the rates?
Pizza for lunch, now feeling down. I only had two slices. I think the rain/clouds work on my emotions?
Flying through. Appointment. I was going to talk a little but my editor held me up. Later taters.
Watching these big birds outside soar with no effort.
Of course it’s raining almost time for the drive home, you all be safe.
Afternoon. A soggy day in Brandon town. PQ has gone to McComb and will be back tomorrow. I’m cleaning out a huge storeroom. I’m trying to hold off putting cardboard boxes out for the garbage until it quits raining but I’m running out of space. Some of the boxes haven’t been opened since we moved here 19 years ago. But I can’t just throw them away because some of the stuff is quite historical in nature. I do need to rebox them though.
Heh. Old Bopper ya might have a museum piece under your nose.
I sure hope Marshall snaps a picture or two of my ocean while he is there. it was nice to get my own pictures a couple of weeks agp
I didn’t take any shots. The sky was gray, the water was brown and the surf was choppy. Nothing really caught my eye.
Good Evening Everyone!
Strange interview. First he was 15 minutes late and then he answered the phone in the middle of the interview. He was completely unsure of what the position required and what he was looking for. Well, #2 in the morning at 8. Hope it goes better.
That’s horrible, I bet you felt like what the heck? Sorry that one didn’t go any better than that. Hopefully, the one in the morning will be perfect.
DWB sounds like my first interview I had where I am working now. I thought the dude was nuts. But they were the first to make me an offer and I needed it. All thing for a reason. But hope tomorrow’s goes better.
Evenin!
Playing the role of Grandy tonight. Baby Girl is at a conference in Shreveport. Doing my best to be a good Grandy!
Good luck dwb!!
I am so glad to be home. No tornado at my house, thankfully. The eldest called to warn us. She’s our own personal weather warning!
