   Good morning! The dogs got me up at 4 so I’ve washed two loads of clothes, vacuumed and considered washing my car. I just wonder why I can’t have all this gumption on Saturdays when I need it!

   Morning PNC and Marshall. it’s 6:35 am. PNC I need to hire you. The laundry is fine it’s the rest of the stuff that needs doing.

   Mornin. Having car troubles. For the 2nd time in almost 2 weeks, my battery is dead. It was replaced last time. When I turned the key the first time (on both occasions), there was a little click and then nothing. Subsequent turns of the key result in no sounds whatsoever. This morning, I used the remote to unlock the doors. Worked fine. After the first turn of the key, even the power locks don’t work. Is it the alternator? Whatever it is, I don’t have money to fix it. But I have to have it fixed. Marshall may be having dreams come true….but mine are more like nightmares.

   Morning, all.

   For the first time since I started attempting to run parts rather than walk the entire morning route, I ran an uphill portion. There is very little flat: it’s either up or down. The first mile was at a 14:14 min/mi pace, the 2nd mile was slower: 15:48. By the 3rd mile I was at a 16:17 pace. However, I was still moving so I consider it a win. I’m thinking I don’t run much faster than I walk.

   Em received several awards last night at class night: Trigonometry, Spanish II, something I didn’t hear and forgot to look up later, and the overall Math Hall of Fame award. She’s getting a scholarship (not full, but a good bit!) to MSU. She’s #3 in the class (Class Historian) so she has to give a speech at graduation.

      Having to write a speech is NOT her favorite thing. If it was just a paper she had to write, she could crank one out in half an hour.
