Thursday Free-For-All

Good morning! Last morning of workouts for a while. I’ll be up and running though. The 4 am club will still be meeting regularly. Since y’all like food, here’s my third painting I ever did. It’s a still-life of radishes.

Superior…..like the use of the strong complimentary colors…..that nature provides and you brought to canvas.

Can I guess that Virginia might be MR’s mom?

OB, maybe I need to have a mouthful of oral surgery to lose weight…dang med side effects!!

I’ve been up since 715 (don’t laugh at me..y’all know I’m not a morning person!!) it’s still overcast here, and the morning mosquitos are just as hungry as the evening mosquitos! I’m not fussing-at least with the sun behind the fog I can sit outside without (as MR says) bursting into flames!

Band camp is this week! I do love sitting outside and hearing the kids, even if it is, at this moment, someone hitting a wood chock with a drumstick! Chicklette is in color guard this year, so I can’t “hear her play.” They finish at 115, so at least they aren’t out in the hottest part of the day.

    Y’all have a good day!

Clucky being able to sit outside and take in the morning or evening beauties tends to make the day more special for me.

I didn’t know there are morning Mosquitos? Lol!!

Clucky, colonscopies work for weight loss, too! Especially when it immediately follows a major family crisis where you have no appetite for a week or so. I lost 10 pounds that way. Don’t recommend it…but it works!

Morning! Flying through! gotta finish the back to school section. Say goodbye to brother today. He has been here since April, he’s ready to GOOOO. He needs back surgery and has to go to Alaska to get it.
Next week will say goodbye to our sports editor, my general manager. Lots of goodbyes.

  6. cardinallady says:

oops! flying back through. I sure wish I had one of those radishes to go with peas, beans and cornbread!

I have 20 people coming to play bridge at 1:00 and not sure if I have the right tallies (those things that tell us which table to go to next), so I’m heading that way now.
