Good Morning. Happy day to all.

Marshall so glad you are having a good turn out for your book.

  2. Molly says:

Mornin. Had a busy weekend spent mostly cooking and shopping. Had to buy a baby gift, a thank you gift and a wedding gift all this weekend (and found some shoes for myself as long as I was out and about). Kiddo and I wandered around the new outlet mall a little while. Lines were too long to even think about buying anything there. Got most of my cooking done for the week on Saturday. That should make my evenings a bit easier this week. We’ll be leaving before noon on Friday for Birmingham to attend my niece’s wedding.

  3. msblondie says:

    morning gang!

    everyone have a great week.

  4. Airwolf says:

Evening folks! Tried to clean up some these wet leaves. After two days of wind and rain there’s no shortage of oak leaves and twigs!

    Enjoy your evening!

  5. msblondie says:

    morning gang!
    everyone have a great day!

  6. cardinallady says:

Good Teriffic Tuesday morning! How is everyone this pleasant day? Me I’m about to head back into getting this newspaper to bed. ALMOST done Halleljuah!

It’s amazing how God multiplies time back to you when you give Him bits of it throughout the day by helping others who are in need. He is SOOO Good!!!

Hope all of you will have a great day.

Marshall, hope you have a good time up here in my neck of the woods tomorrow. Just drive through Pontotoc while you are here and you may be converted. Hee Hee. Our town is so pretty. They put out the snowflakes early this morning.

  7. Old Bopper says:

Mawnin’ y’all. Have enjoyed a couple of “tops down” days. PQ and I have been riding with the top down and the radio blaring oldies.

Went to the new outlet mall yesterday afternoon. Nice facility. Absolutely no bargains discovered. Prices are the same or more as in multiple line stores.

I hope the outlets do well, but I think they are going to have lots of closures and new openings on a consistent basis.

PQ is about over her cold. So far I’ve been able to miss out on catching it. We opened the windows and aired out the house yesterday.

    Smiles and hugs y’all!

  8. msblondie says:

    morning gang! Happy Wednesday!

    Everyone have a great day!

  9. Airwolf says:

Morning! Anyone see the camel yet?

  10. parrotmom says:

Oh my is it Camel Day? Appears I missed Tuesday.

OB glad PQ is better and you hsved began enjoying your new ride.
    Everyone take care.

  11. parrotmom says:

Everyone continue to keep Bo Lumpkin in your prayers that God’s will be done. He is still in ICU they are continuing to do dialysis and they have or may be going to put him on a ventilator. Remember his wife and family also.

  12. cardinallady says:

About shooed the camel out of here.
I can’t believe that Wednesday is almost gone and that it is the WEEK before THANKSGIVING! Oh there is so much to be thankful for. We just don’t know. It doesn’t matter if the whole blooming world doesn’t stop to acknowledge the day for what it is, we should.
May God bless us as we thank Him for another year on these old dusty paths of life in spite of the trials and tribulations these days have held. Love yall. See you in the morning.

  13. Clucky says:

I’ve been working long days this week with the chirren. Boy, they wear me out! Will be working the 3-4’s tomorrow and Friday, but I’m not complaining. That’s my Chrostmas money.
Poppy is having biopsies in a couple of weeks. I’ve had a bad feeling about him the last several weeks. I pray it’s not bad news. Please remember him on prayer.

    Love y’all.

  14. msblondie says:

    morning gang!

hope everyone has a great day!

  15. Molly says:

Mornin. Kiddo is not feeling well. I’m taking her for a strep test at lunch today. We leave tomorrow to tour University of Alabama and then to my niece’s wedding. Not a good time for her to be sick! Come to think of it, I don’t feel so great, either. I hope I’m not getting sick.

  16. cardinallady says:

Morning! Halleljuah! My favorite hen showed up this morning. The one with the crippled leg that mothered my two ducks. There was a whole lot of hen kissing going on when I got to her and swept her up in my arms. I was afraid a ‘possum or fox had slipped in and got her because I was late shutting up my chickens.

It has been a good day. Clemmie is okay! (Did I tell you I love my chicken?)

Lord Jesus we thank you for your love and mercy that you pour out on each of us every day. There are many needs represented among my special family members here. I pray that your spirit will reach out and touch each heart. Give us strength to endure the days that we must face as we help those we love and as our hearts ache for those we know aren’t doing well physically. I pray that you will draw each of these special people to Your great heart this day and love them dearly. In Jesus’ precious holy name, AMEN.

  17. Molly says:

Well…Kiddo has strep. Yippee! (where’s that sarcasm font?) She got a Roceferin shot and a steroid shot and a couple of prescriptions. Her back side is a bit sore, but hopefully she will feel worlds better tomorrow. We’re supposed to leave early tomorrow.

  18. parrotmom says:

Good morning all. I know I missed Thursday.

Bo Lumpkin was taken home this morning about 2:00 am to live forever. Thank you Jesus for letting him touch as many lives as he did. Prayers for his family, even though they know he is in a better place, he will be missed.

Hug your family and tell them you love them.

  19. msblondie says:

morning gang! It is Friday and a wet one.

I hate hearing about Bo – but yes he is in a much better place now.

    everyone have a great day!

  20. parrotmom says:

nasty drive home. I replaced windshield wiper a couple weeks ago. It works just fine. I guess I should change the other one this weekend.

  21. blues4you says:

Wanders in/looks around. Oh right, it’s saturday. That’s why no one’s here.

Please pray for the Gaillet family as son Robert recovers from an horrific car accident. You may have seen this in the news earlier this week.
They’re my neighbors and I have never seen more devoted parents to three great kids.
Your prayers are really needed at this time.

I’m at home for a few days. Work is really a mess these days. Wish I could describe it, but this is a family blog.

  22. Old Bopper says:

Happy Soggy Saturday! PQ doesn’t feel bad but still has a bad cough.

My little Civic has a new family which thrives on love. I hope it will be a happy relationship.

It amazes me how much John Kerry is getting done as Secretary of State. I’m still waiting to find out if Hillary accomplished anything at all.

Blues I know you will enjoy your time at home. Hope you can stay through the holiday.

PQ, if you need another windshield wiper, get it from an auto parts store such as AutoZone. They will install it for you.

    Ya’ll stay dry, you hear.

  23. parrotmom says:

Hey everybody. Was a nasty morning to be out and it still is drizzling rain.

Blues glad you are home for a few and prayers for this family.

Thanks OB for the info. Everyone stay dry and warm.

  24. parrotmom says:

Beautiful outside this Sunday afternoon, just too windy.

  25. Old Bopper says:

Well, initial impressions on Scooter. Gas mileage is slightly less than the Civic. Ride is rougher and noisier. But, but the fun factor is fantastic! Looking forward to getting him on the mountain roads in Arkansas. I’m fixing to put new shoes on the boy.

    Y’all, it’s cold!

  26. msblondie says:

morning gang! it be cold. i for sure did not want to get up this morning. Sure glad for the short week.

everyone have a great day and week. and try to stay warm. If you are traveling, please be careful!

  27. Molly says:

Mornin. We had a great trip to Birmingham. Stayed busy the whole weekend. We started the trip with a stop at the University of Alabama. Spent about 3 hours there. Then on to B’ham and the rehearsal dinner, which was divine…and long. We were there about 4 hours. Saturday we did a lot of shopping. I got to visit with my best friend from junior high, whom I have not seen in 28 years! I was in her wedding in 1985. Then my niece’s wedding was at 5:00. It was beautiful. It was outdoors and cold! There were several things I’ve never seen at a wedding. First, it was outdoors in 40 degree weather after dark. The ring bearer was a dog. They actually tied a knot … in a rope. It was a very interesting ceremony. Then…Sunday in 30 degree weather, we went to the zoo. Yes, we’re nuts. It wasn’t too bad, though. The wind died down and we were bundled up, so it was okay. Then a little more shopping and got home around 6:00 last night. I’m really glad this is a short work week!

  28. cardinallady says:

Morning! Gotta peek my red head in before afternoon gets here. BRRRR! I wish I could shut myself up in the house with my hens and wait out these next few days. But there are no bombs exploding in my front yard and my neighborhood is not war-torn like so many others on this old planet, so I’ll just thank God I have a job, a home, and peace.

Love yall. Gotta get to writing again.

  29. parrotmom says:

Afternoon everyone. CLady I agree would live to be home in front of the fireplace. Brrrrrr!!! Where did fall go?
