It feels like Monday again.
Thank goodness it’s not!
But, Coop, it’s Thursday, which is my Friday!
My bread dough didn’t rise overnight, so it’s going in the garbage and I’ll doctor on the starter tonight. Em is exempt from both exams today, so she’s staying home. She has to go take the Chemistry exam tomorrow and hope she can bring that grade up. Tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR 2010-11. Hooray!
Coop, I hope it just feels like a Monday, but dosen’t act like a Monday. Poor MsB just can’t seem to get past a Monday, better luck for her today. I hope AnnO and IG are doing well. I guess with her learning a new job and probably still doing some of the old she must be swamped.
Mrsh sorry about the bread not rising the temps must not have been good enough. We are still cool at night.

Morning folks. I need to cut some grass and trim some bushes at the farm. Just not motivated.
In the first three weeks since getting my Mississippi driver’s license motorcycle endorsement, I’ve logged 1,008 miles on two wheels. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Boule’s gas mileage. I got 47 mpg in town, and 59 and 64 mpg on two highway driving tanks of gas. I’ve done all my refills at home carefully measuring the gas by ounces and converting to gallons. Should have checked Casper’s mileage but didn’t pay much attention to it. Casper is supposed to get about 70 miles plus per gallon. Have 444 miles on Casper and 564 miles on Boule.

Kiddo took her one and only exam yesterday. I picked her up at 11:30 and her Freshman year is complete. She’s blissfully sleeping this morning.
I was blissfully sleeping again too after waking up when BE left at 5:30 to go fishing. Now if I can get some coffee down before Chomper decides to lead me around the great outdoors. By the way, I don’t think I’ve told you that Chomper (formerly 12 Pounds of Starving) has been put on a diet. She weighed 11 pounds when we got her and is now at 13.8 pounds. She was about a year old when we got her 6 1/2 years ago.
morning gang! I think Monday got the picture and left till next week. Made it to work today with out the phone ringing.
I wish Hinds County would expemt the kids from exams (only Seniors get this perk). M has to take all of hers because this. She doesn’t get out till next Tuesday. Rumor has it they are suppose to go 60% on Wednesday to make up the 60% day they missed for snow. She isn’t going.. nor is about half the school.

I get to go hear Shepherd Smith speak today! He is speaking at Ole Miss and I am even going to drive to Oxford to hear him. I made it clear to the folks that wild horses couldn’t keep me away from that session. (Thankfully, there are very few open ranges with mustangs running on them around here.)
Okay, I’ve gotta get out of here and go take a picture.
Going down to the coast on Saturday to eat oysters as the flood waters enter the sound and kill whatever is left. The last five or six years have been tough on the oyster population.

Happy Birthday to me! I would say I’ll be there, come Hell or high water,” but between the flood and Rapture rumors, I’m leaving “Hell” out of that remark!
Got new computer system at our work today. Now I’ve got dual monitors and it is much much faster. Sweet.
*chuckle* JB I do good to pay attention to ONE monitor, I think two would drive me crazy. For instance, like that new dual phone thing that sprint has introduced. Goodness, throwing information from one screen to another. We are INDEED living in George Jetson age, minus flying in the space craft.

I’m excited about the Pick-a-Nick in a few weeks! I need to re-send the invite to see if we can round up some more folks.
Last time I looked, Marshall hadn’t even accepted although he did approve the date before our reservation was made.
Clucky, it’s a date! I’m determined to see Diamond Rio, especially since I missed Brandon Day last weekend and Pearl is wonderful about paying for things. They pay for our senior luncheon every month while Brandon charges $7.00 a ticket for theirs. I got a ticket today for the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast at 7:00 in the morning. I figured if BE was going fishing at 5:30 again tomorrow that he could wake me up before he leaves.
Well, back to work for me tomorrow, whether I am ready or not!! Not off until Thursday!! But then I have 5 days off, which I will need after 6 days straight!! Hope you all have a good night. Prayers for all.
