for some looneytoon reason, this reminds me of a Univision T.V. interview of President Obama: http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7360542n <—-After its brought to our Presidents attn that the U.S. Govt's actions, of arming cartels, prove to be opposite of its policy towards catching and putting gunrunners in jail….ya gotta wonder if Latino's watching this interview feel the same as your cartoon charactors above. Not only did Obama give no apology & refuse to take responsibility for his federal agencies actions, our federal govt has continued to encourage the idea that "our southern border is a safe place". Tell that to the residents of border towns, even more so, the bordetowns on the south side of our border.

Here is a blog that updates daily news about the war along the border: http://www.blogdelnarco.com/ <—-there is also a fb page for this blog. This blog shows both justified federal killings of terrorist cartel members and also innocent victims killed by federal authorities because of unfortunately matched the description of a target.
Please do not view the narco blogs if gruesome pics of the consequences of terrorism & war are something that you can't handle. After the media gives its view of the war, or even worse, simply ignores the ever escalating situation altogether, this blog with its extreme view of "no censorship" is what many on the border have looked towards for info.

"As President I refuse to wait for the images of slaughter & mass graves, before taking action" ~ Barrack Obama quoted on Libya's limited engagement

"A massacre would have driven thousands of refugees across Libya's borders putting strains on Egypt & Tunisia" Barrack Obama

On November 5, 2010, the U.S. closed the border crossing between Brownsville, TX and Matamoros, Mexico after urban warfare broke out just 10 minutes south of the Texas town. The U.S. turned away families seeking safety from a mid-day urban war scene that would remind any American war veteran of battles fought in lands far away. The one mexican journalist on the scene of the battle in Matamoros had his car filled full of bullets, shot by Mexican marines and died.

Families that live alongside the daily fighting between the govts & cartels see an attitude of "more violence means we're winning the war" from both Presidents Calderon and President Obama, they must wonder how much longer can they hold on to hope that things will change.

Anyways, I'm grateful to be able to view your toons MR – good stuff!!

So, after watching the “Breaking News” on ‘John King USA’ today I was reminded of how small the world we live in actually is. A local author was featured on the show to give insight on a familiar subject. Reminded me of this ol’post MR.

these days the freedom riders need to travel a little further down the road…. like maybe just south of the border :-/

the day a president will apologize for escalating the drug war on our southern neighbors, will be the day a brown man will be president…
