Definitely thinking about Clucky and the family.
Good morning. 5:30 am came around too quickly so I finally made it up at 6:00 am. I have got to start going to sleep before 2 or 2:30 in the morning.
Clucky you, Mr Fab, and Poppy are in my prayers. May God give you peace as the days, weeks seem to drag by.
Happy Monday :) bah humbug, may I go back to bed now?
Mawnin’ y’all. Had more rain last evening. I think we could skip a day or two and let this soak in before adding to it.
Interesting article in the SunHerald this morning about the museum on the coast in that terrible looking building. It’s a classic case of what not to do starting with the building design and not having an operating budget.

My 2 younger girls left the house at 6:30 a.m. after having gotten themselves up and ready with no intervention from anyone else in the family. Band Camp is in full swing.

Morning gang. Our youth was in charge of our service yesterday. Mom son spoke. It was a great service. Probably the best youth service I’ve been a part of.
Just a few more days and my office is moving. I’m actually going to be about 10 minutes closer to home. Yeah.
Glad the lock out is over and our new Titans QB can get into camp to learn the system. Look for them to move on a QB (not Breet Farve) who will actually begin the season.

Good morning, finally! I’ve had to get Thursday’s bridge game lined up because I will be working at a voting prescinct tomorrow for Pearl’s vote on the liquor issue and it will be a long day, beginning at 6:15 a.m. and ending who knows when. I don’t know yet if we will have the county voting machines tomorrow or will have to count the votes by hand. I sure hope they got the machines this time because I feel that there will be a big turnout. At least when we are busy, the day doesn’t seem quite as long.
MrsH, what did y’all have to eat at Newk’s the other day?
I’m glad most of you got rain. We managed 1/4 inch last evening. The earth and vegetation is crying for water.

I’m starving! I’m about to whip up a bowl o’noodles.
We both had 1/2 a chicken pesto sandwich. Em got 1/2 a bowl of red beans and rice and I had a 1/2 salad. Em picked up some extra bread sticks for the ride home!
I’ve never tried either. I love their Favorite Salad which has a sherry vinegarette dressing and I would never have thought that I would order a pimiento cheese sandwich in a restaurant, but theirs is very good. And there was a poll asking for favorite pizza spots around Jackson and their spicy shrimp pizza was a big favorite. Their chicken salad is good too.

Whew, (wiping sweat from forehead) just turned the mattress and springs and I’m tuckered out. Talalay latex is some heavy stuff. I think the king sized mattress weighs around 225 lbs. We have another king sized mattress in the primary guest room with a minimum amount of latex in it, and I can stand in one spot and turn the thing in just a few minutes. But pulling the heavy mattress off and pulling it back on is work.

I heard someone on the radio today suggest that Dave Ramsey be appointed Treasury Secretary because that man knows how to trim a budget. I wish those in Washington were as serious about getting things done as our other favorite Ramsey.
He’d do a fine job. No chance of him ever getting into government. His head would explode.
Em and I had been talking about pimento cheese earlier in the day (not favorably, I might add!) and I remembered Newks’ as having been raved about. I pointed that out while we were in line but she didn’t go for it.
I just had a Newks pimento cheese and they are really good.
Afternoon. Flying through. Still loving Clucky across the miles. Had a busy morning with a busier afternoon. Gotta fly. Love y’all!!!

Been a busy morning and afternoon. hard to believe it is nearly 3pm.
Love Newk’s – my fave is the chicken salad and loaded potatoe soup. The ultmiate salad is also very good (eat 2 days on it). I will have to give their pimento cheese a try.
back to the grind… trying to get some reports out.
All I know about Newks is that the salad give Leagle gas.
Actually, we narrowed down the cause of the problem and it’s not the salad itself; it’s the capers we load onto it. There is a table in the middle of the restaurant where you can stop and get baked garlic cloves, cloves, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, etc. and pick up crackers and/or bread sticks and the go boxes are piled underneath and you will need one of those when you leave. BE likes the Ultimate salad, but with ranch instead of honey mustard dressing and I like the Favorite and a few others too. Their blue cheese dressing, sherry vinegarette and caesar dressing are really good too.

I have my window open because I was freezing (welcome back, Mark!!)

And I’m hungry and I’m not sure when supper is because we have a choir rehearsal tonight in Long Beach for a Gulf Coast MOMA (Ministers of Music Association) combined choir event that will happen on Sept. 11. We depart at 4.
I want to try out for a solo, but the only female solo is really for a soprano. Can I do this? It’s not my comfort zone, but it is (barely) in my range. Let the Worshippers Arise.

Evening. First day back from vacation wasn’t too bad. My co-worker was a big help while I was gone! I think I’m actually caught up. Now just to stay that way!
Our youth gave a report last night from one of their mission trips. It was so funny because as each one was giving their report, others would think of something else they wanted to share. They are so precious! All girls!!

it has been a long day. finished work had to run by the grocery got home fixed supper just got the moo fed.. Wednesday gotta take M to Delta State for her look around. That is going to be a long drive.

I think I found out my answer.
Very strange the kittie girls made it till about 2:00 am this morning before wanting out. They have eaten and came back in. I am not really looking for them but am very surprised that I know where Tinker Bell is, but no clue where Itty Bitty is and Coop I know what you mean about a whiner. As soon as Itty comes in the door she start meowing and doesn’t stop. That is why I am surprised to not know where she is other than cat napping in a dark place.
We just had a quick hard shower to go through, may be some more. We will see. The Kittie girls sat at the door and watched it rain. I guess that was a first for them to be on the inside looking out?
Ok nite lite is on as the thunder roars. I will quit talking to myself and go watch the kittie girls stare out the window.
