    All is well in rural Attala county. Cloudy and not too hot. Going to be heading to Eburg in a bit to see Poppy!

    Goodmorning! purdy day here so far. baby has a cold :( after a long night of cry, sleep, cry, sleep, cry, cry, cry, cry….
    I took her from mommy & walked her around in front yard @ daybreak & it soothed her (she is fascinated w/looking up at the leaves & branches on trees)
    I’m holding her now while she & mommy get much needed sleep.

    Good morning to everyone. Coop so glad you are having a good time in KO and have fun with Poppy (great neice).

    BP congrats ont he avatar looks good.

    I have been up for a little over an hour and feel as though I have put in a days work. Taking care of PD and congrats to us. He has his new peg in and fits and looks good as pegs are so beautiful—NOT, but they do provide life. I hope with this when the bleeding around it will stop. Then the kittie girls they followed me around the whole time tending to PD and grabbing my leg like hey don’t forget aboutt the little peope. then finally but not least the Parrot was finally gotten out of his bedtime cage and had breakfast. I feel worn out now and need a nap.

    Does any of you use the memory foam mattrice or have the cover for your matrice. Sleeping on the sofa bed pull out is killing me. I wake up and get up with all kinds of aches and pains. Our bed is a water bed and out of the question as long as PD is in his neck brace. The other two beds are full size. In other words just enough room for one. OK so now I will quit gripping and go drink my go juice other wise known as a diet dr pepper.

    I sat up until around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning reading. then went to bed and got up at 8:30. BE hasn’t been able to sleep because of his back. He took a muscle relaxer yesterday and fell asleep yesterday morning. I sat up until around 4:00 p.m. then sat up until 3:30 a.m. this morning and finished reading Dick Francis’s new book before I went to bed. I got up about 9:15 this morning, ready to go again and BE slept through the day and the rest of the night and finally got some sleep (a lot of it). Yesterday was one of the few days I remember when I neither made nor received a phone call. The sleep pattern between now and Tuesday should be interesting because I have to show up to work at the polls at 6:30 a.m.

    Oh, yea, I dozed between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. yesterday. I couldn’t say anything on the blog because BE was trying to sleep and the computer is in the bedroom.

    PD was board around the house so off to Blockbuster we went. They have DVD’s and Blu-rays 5 for $20.00. So he picked him out 15 movies. The pain meds nor muscle relaxers are giving him any relief. They said this is normal, but you would think something would help the spasms along side the brace?

    The parrot is past due for his shower. I best be getting busy.

    Afternoon! Did about 175 miles today on Boule. Brandon to Newton on I-20 then hwy 15 to Union. Stopped to say hello to Clucky, Chicklette and Mr. Fab, then on to Philadelphia to Hwy 16 through Carthage turning south on Hwy 25 and back into Brandon. It was the longest stretches on Interstate and four lane highways to date. Boule did great at 75-80 mph. I am so ready for a trip.

    PM, our oldest daughter bought a memory foam top for an old, old mattress. It made the old mattress sleep like a new one and is quite comfy. A few years ago, PQ and I spent a couple of nights on a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress and I can attest that it is a good sleep. I think a memory foam top for one of the double beds would be a good investment. If Iremember correctly they come in 3 inch depths, maybe 4.

    SBNation just reported that Jim Irsay, owner of the Colts, tweeted that he was down in Mississippi doin’ a deal with the devil like Robert Johnson.

    Speculation he is going to sign Favre because Peyton is going to miss the start of the season. Mass hysteria on sports blogs in 3…2…1….

    Pouring rain in Gtown. Want to upload pics of Poppy for Big Sis to see but internet isn’t cooperating. Had a great weekend! Got to see Mom and Dad, lil sis, Mrpnc, Cub, Baby Girl, Peanut, A and Poppy! Good times!

    Friday night Mr. H left his bike at his mom’s house and rode back with us in my car. We went back this afternoon to get it. Came through a major t-storm in Escatawpa. He had stopped to put on his rain gear. I’m glad I was the one following him. Even in his glow in the dark rain suit, I had a hard time seeing him and I KNEW he was there.

    We now still have a vehicle at the church, so I think I’m going to ask the eldest to drop me off there on her way to work in the morning.

    Question: Why, when I try to get on the Clarion Ledger website, does it show up for a few seconds the goes to a blank screen, showing “Transferring data from ad.doubleclick.net? Is there something wrong with the site?

    Got pics posted so that Big Sis will be able to see when she gets up. It’s 5:50 a.m. over there, so she should be getting up soon. Well, when she has to. Let’s see, it’s Sunday night here, so it’s Monday morning there. Yep, she’ll need to be waking up soon to see hubby off to work, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be GETTING up. Oh well… she’ll see them when she gets up…whenever that is.
