It’s Fair day! We are going to get lunch at the fair, but, since CornPop is still gimpy, she can’t go! boo! We’re gonna bring her back a prize, though!

Working at home today. LilO has a really bad case of bronchitis: temp of 101, and can’t go to school. IG has errands to run today, so I get to stay home! *\o/* (That’s a cheerleader – see the pom poms?) She’s asleep right now.

Lunch, two Hebrew National hot dogs on the grill with all the fixin’s, chips, and a Negra Modelo. Good lonesome food. PQ gets back on Saturday.
Had my collarbone x-rayed this morning. Got my taxes ready to e-file on Monday. Pay the Feds some more and get about that much back from the State. Not bad considering.
Yippee! The rim for my headlight came in. Got the highway bars on. Now if I can get this baby on, Boule and I may go for a ride.

My eldest and her chosen one are headed to Starkville for the weekend. His parents have access to a condo and a skybox this weekend, so she packed her cowbell and they were off!!
My reds have a game in Gulfport tonight, so they’re making a quick stop at a friend’s house (who lives 10 miles closer to GCHS than we do) for a snack and to change clothes, then back to school to load up and head south. Mr. H and I plan on having Chinese take-out tonight and watching a movie – The Wild Bunch

WooHoo! The eldest just got a call from her last year’s landlord. She had been wondering why she didn’t get her deposit back when they moved out. Apparently they mailed it with the correct street address but put Starkville rather than Lucedale. They are re-sending it.

I had a rib-eye steak sandwich at the fair. It was yummy! Ended up skipping the ear of corn and now wish I had bought one to go. Oh well…

Good morning! BE woke me up, turned on the TV and went back to sleep while I’m on my second cup of coffee and wondering what I’m doing up.
We went to a tailgate party yesterday which included a pizza party and then I went to play bridge with some still new players and then got invited to visit with my brothers from other mothers last night.
