Been there: done that. Hate that.

Morning! Lots to do & can’t seem to stay on task. Going from one thing to another never ends and the jobs don’t get finished! Really bad habit of mine! Need my sisters to keep me on track. Oh, well, off to it…again…

  3. Mrs. H says:

I slept in, too. Fixing to deliver a couch to someone who needs one. The eldest says “good riddance” because she wants to re-decorate my house. The recipient says “Thanks, I need that.” Everyone’s happy :)

Hey, I’m wearing a T-shirt! First time since the accident 3 weeks ago tomorrow. That means I can lift my arm vertically above my head. Still have a heck of a knot where the break is.

Ha, love that about borrowing Em’s truck. Had to go get a new toaster oven this morning. The old one caught on fire. Thank goodness it was an electrical fire and shortly after I pulled the plug, it went out.
Looking forward to watching Mississippi teams on the tv today. At least one of them should be a good one. Hope both are…..as long as ‘Bama wins.

mornnoon, getting oil changed. Putting up with aggitated PD wants me to learn phone and teach him—duh you have to do it yourself. The parrots hollering the tv’s loud and I would rather be at work where it is quite.

  7. Airwolf says:

Morning again. Bear and I are watching State and SC.

Things more peaceful now that I am back home. Bills are paid but didn’t make it to the mailbox in time. Oh well!!!

To funny having to ask you teenage daughter permission to use the vehicle :)

OB, so glad you are improving. How do I go about getting an absentee vote thing for PD?

  9. parrotmom says:

hoping the dawgs can hold on for the next 9 minutes of the game.

    Afternoon! I’m being lazy.

lil sis, I’m sure you can manage!

  11. OldBopper says:

PM, call the Hinds County Circuit Clerks office-601-968-6628 and request an application and a ballot to be mailed to PD at your home address.

Also, while talking with them see what you need to do to get him on the permanent disabled absentee ballot list. Once that happens, they will automatically mail a ballot each time there is an election.

When you get the application, complete it and have him sign it. Then complete the ballot. When you finish with the ballot, fold it and put it in the envelope provided. Seal the ballot envelope and complete the information on it. When he signs his name on the envelope, the signature MUST cross over the edge of the envelope flap or it will be a voided ballot.

Then get the completed absentee ballot and the ballot in the envelope together and deliver to the Circuit Clerk’s office in either Raymond or Jackson. Here’s a tip. When you go to vote, a list of persons voting absentee must be posted for public view inside the precinct. Check to make sure PD’s name is on that list. That means his ballot has been received and will be counted at the closing of the polls.

I was sitting out on the back porch and heard something in the woods. A fawn stepped out and started grazing in the yard. I watched it a couple of minutes, then it’s twin stepped out and joined it. They were beautiful. After another couple of minutes, a doe came running out of the woods and ran through the yard into the woods on the other side. The fawns followed her. I never saw what spooked her, but I was glad to get the treat to watch while they were there

The other evening I had to run to Family Dollar which is across the street from us, the street really being hwy 80 and there were two does not even 200 yards from 80. Of course my headlights startled them for a few seconds before they took off running.

  14. Barb says:

Pnc, forgive me, please? I love Ole Miss when it comes to them and State…I HATE State!!! My teams in order are Southern, Auburn, Alabama, and Ole Miss. That being said….YAY!!! But, they didn’t have to humiliate them just like LSU did not have to beat up on Tennessee!!
OB, congrats on the tee shirt!

  15. OldBopper says:

Mawnin’ y’all. I agree that Bama shouldn’t have run the score up. But when you’re pushing for number 1 and have a Heisman potential, you have to play the statistics.

When I was a kid, it was during the Ole Miss heyday with Vaught as the coach. I pulled for Mississippi State because my dad went there. Anyway, all the OM fans were such braggards that I couldn’t stand it and developed a bias that hasn’t gone away. That being said, my favorite team is whoever is playing Ole Miss.

Think we are going to 5 pm service today. PQ is dog tired from the long hours of training she was subjected to the past three days.
