Coop, I left the recipe on the Thursday FFA.
Frustrated by technology this morning (and exhausted from staying up to watch the World Series game, which was totally worth it).
Morning. Flying through. Getting my work done so I can leave and be on vacation for the next week. It is drizzling here. Has been a chilly day. I am soooooooo looking forward to my week off! I have one story to finish, take a picture have a pow wow with the staff today, make a phone call or two and I’m done!!

Morning friends. Wet and pretty cool (45 degrees) on my hill today. Bear is off to Scout Camp at Camp Yocona tonight so our house will be quiet. But he said he would be here as soon as he returns Saturday afternoon.
I have nothing on my plate for today, just laze around and do some reading.

I spent 4 hours this afternoon working with some new bridge players and love those 3 women. I’m honored that they have asked me and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

I’ve been using a palm sander on the now formerly blue Honda Civic belonging to our eldest. It is now shiny steel. The eldest was using a pneumatic sander.
We are both WO’ OUT. . . and no longer dusty blue at this time. Just a few short minutes ago we were vaguely Smurf-like and rather chilled. Hot water is a wonderful thing.

Coop here’s the recipe for Strawberry Ghosts:
Ingredients
30 fresh strawberries
8 ounces white baking chocolate, chopped
1 teaspoon shortening
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Wash strawberries and gently pat with paper towels until completely dry. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate and shortening at 50% power; stir until smooth. Stir in extract.
Dip each strawberry in chocolate mixture; place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet, allowing excess chocolate to form the ghosts’ tails. Immediately press chocolate chips into coating for eyes. Freeze for 5 minutes.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt remaining chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Dip a toothpick into melted chocolate and draw a mouth on each face. Yield: 2-1/2 dozen.
