Me and you? Good morning everyone sort of wet outside.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and tomorrow is Friday!!!
Mawnin’ y’all. A little rain here with more to come tonight. Got to work today so I’m headed off for parts unknown. Later dudes.
No trip to NOLA for us this weekend. Mr. H has to work. But he has a job (and a good one). We’ll go later.
Em and the eldest are going shopping today. Em is exempt and the eldest is on the M-T-W schedule for December. El has one exam, 1st block today. I’ll pick her up and take her home, then we’ll do our shopping tomorrow.
Have fun OB:)
MrsH, shopping actually sounds fun?
morning gang! everyone have a great day.
Our monthly Pearl seniors luncheon is today and it’s a covered dish affair. Then I have 4 tables of bridge until 4:00 or a little after. Then we have been invited to a covered dish dinner at the reservoir at 6:30 p.m. In the morning, the Brandon church bridge group is having their Christmas social before bridge, so it’s bring a snack or finger food. And there’s another covered dish dinner next Tuesday.
One of my classmates sent me some pictures that were taken at our class Christmas party last Saturday and in case I haven’t seen you lately, I can tell you that all those finger foods haven’t settled in my fingers!
Mornin!
I’m taking a couple of days off. Today I’m headed to Vburg with Big Sis, BIL and L from Canada to shop at the outlet mall.
Morning, having a late breakfast at Huddle House.
Hey gang! I decided to put up a light wreath on the street side of my house. Other than a Christmas flag that’s it for our outside decorations! I somehow can’t get in the spirit this year.
Y’all must have your head down working!
Did I mention it is much too warm out, 68 degrees ! I’m not complaining but it tends to create some ferocious weather!
been a cold wet week up here in the STL
It is warm and sticky out… not a good sign for December.
My afternoon just got blown up… I got handed asset sheets… I gotta check out all the stuff here in IT. They have stuff going back 20 years on them.
Whew! Done working for the day. Will have to work again next Wednesday though.
Woo hooo! PQ and I got our 13th check deposit notification! Guess we will have presents after all.
*ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz……………………………………
Hi errbody. Glad errbody had busy days. Mine went by purdy slow, but did accomplish much needed to-do’s. Even a lil work today. Thursday’s are ususally a day off, but such gloomy weather. Inside day I guess.
Long day for me not enough accomplished at work. I just can’t keep my mind on it. Never a good time to have a very sick loved one. A very dear friend of ours asked me tonight and on rare occassions, but have any of you known someone to stay in ICCU for weeks upon weeks? His white count is still high it comes down then goes back up, no fever, cultures apparently not showing anything. This has nothing to do with congestive heart failure which is one of the definites that is a bad health issue to have.
nite all!!
Hope your ppl get well soon PM.
5:34 am Good Friday morning. Last day to get up so early—Maybe !!! EVeryone be careful the streets are wet.
Coop has is your friend? Prayers for CLady and family, MsB’s BIL and everyone else.
OK, I’m checked in and had my pre-procedure meds. BP is through the roof..methinks I’m a little nervous about this. Wet drive coming in on I-20; at least they have finished the work on the interstate. The doc just got here, so funtime is about to start.
Sorry I have been so quiet on here this week. I’m scared.
It’ll be ok Clucky! You got lots of people praying for you. {{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}
Clucky thinking of you!! Where U be? UMC?
Coop thanks for the Viagra email. I think your yahoo account had been hacked?
Mornin. I’m here on this rainy Friday. It’s finally calming down a bit at work. Been unusually busy for this time of year. Now everybody is getting ready for Christmas and not looking for legal help. Fine by me. I’ve got lots of “little” things I need to catchup on.
Have a great day!
Prayers for ya Clucky. But where are you, why, and what do you expect to be done? If you need help, give a ring.
Mawnin’ y’all. A soggy day in the sunny South. Hope the Boss is getting some much needed rest.
morning gang!
prayers for you clucky.
I get to deliver Christmas cheer up at the VA today during my lunch ( gonna be a long lunch). It is funny so many of the patients don’t want to take it. We don’t give much – a card and $2.00 for them to get a coke or candy bar. I always wish it was more but funds don’t allow it.
Lots to do so everyone have a Great Day.
Thank you for what you do for our veterans!!!
Ditto!
Amen to that!
Morning! Rained all night. 72 degrees yesterday and 45 this morning.
Prayers for PD and Clucky!
Mornin!
Yes, PM, apparently I’ve been hacked, and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to change my password in Yahoo!! Anybody got any suggestions on where to look?
I’m about to get ready to head up to KO for the day/night. Big Sis and BIL just left to take L to the airport to return to Canada. We’ve had a good time.
Clucky, praying for you dear!!! Keep us posted when you can.
Later, folks!
Yeah, Coop, Yahoo hides these things. Click where it says “Hi, Coop” and from there it will let you get to your account information and make changes.
Found it! Thanks, Molly!
I feel like a party animal, well, sorta kinda. We went to a Christmas party last night in the clubhouse at the Breakers at the reservoir and partook of yet more good food, fellowship, views of lights across the water, dancing and good music provided by Joseph Lasalla. He was great and could play a hugh range of music. I’m getting dressed soon to be picked up in 45 minutes to an hour by Frank to go to the Christmas party and bridge game at the church in Brandon. Party on…
In the meantime, I finished reading Karen Robards’ “Walking After Midnight,” “To Trust a Stranger” and started “Whispers at Midnight.”
Just had a call from Parrot Mom. She said they did a bronchial (sp) scope on PD and they think his cancer is back. Keep them in your prayers.
Oh, no!! Thanks for the update. Prayers for sure!
Oh God, I was scared that was the case.
Damn cancer!!!
My procedure was about 1/5th as bad as I expected. The only bad thing was the head-splitting headache that lasts less than 5 minutes while they turn you head down to make sure the dye is all the way through the spinal cord. Normal waiting time is 7-10 days, but he promised to call by Monday evening with the holidays coming up. Keeping fingers crossed, but symptoms are increasing daily.
Thanks OB for posting. Appears we have to wait till Monday for his/an ENT to decide what/where we go now and what type testing for confirmation. The weekend is going to be so long.
Prayers for you PM and PD.
Thanks
PM I’m so sorry to hear that! Continuing prayers for you both!
Clucky glad your procedure was not as bad as you expected. I hope your weekend goes well.
Clucky, glad to find out what you had going on. Keeping you in our prayers. And PM and PD also.
A dreary looking day here today. If it were colder, I’d say we might have snow.
Parrotmom and Clucky, I can’t begin to tell you how you have been in my thoughts and prayers and how I would love to reach out and give you both a hug. We have become a family and it hurts when another member of our family hurts.
Pm and Clucky, prayers are ascending.
thanks eveyone. I know we still have to wait for a biopsy to be done for it to be official. I hope that we can get him moved Monday from one hospital to another so that they can check him out and no what all we are now facing with all the other health stuff from the past 5 weeks.
9:28 good night to all this Friday night. Sweet dreams and see you in the morning.
SATURDAY, 7:07 AM Mawnin’ y’all. Still looks like a snowy winter day outside. I’m ready for some sunshine.
Downstairs heating unit is not working this morning. Gotta figure that out and/or call the repair man. With the upstairs unit and the fire place logs, it is a reasonable 70 degrees right now, but it’s supposed to get much colder come evening.
Hope everybody has a good day. Prayers for all in need and you know who you are.
7:35 am, Morning! I have a cold this morning@&$$@
Going to Tupelo to look at a laptop for Bear.
Good luck with your heat OB.
Mornin from chilly KO.
PM, continuing to pray for PD.
Clucky, I’m glad your procedure went better than expected. Maybe you’ll start seeing an improvement. Keep us posted.
I’m going with A this morning to watch Poppy while A gets her hair cut. I may get a trim also.
Hope everyone has a better day today. Love and hugs to all.
