    Good morning, all.
The school girls are off 2 days for Mardi Gras, and the eldest is off for President’s Day. Mr. H and I have to work. It won’t be a busy phone day because most people think we’re closed when the banks are closed. Do we look like a bank? I think not.

Good morning everyone!!! My first day back to work so wished I could be off longer :(
Mighty chilly out this morn. Prayers for CornPop, Orville, Clucky, AW and his family, and all others.

    The time is 6:42 am

    Good morning folks.

  4. Mrs. H says:

It was clear for our walk this morning, but the fog is thickening up outside my kitchen window.

I hope your day at work is uneventful, PM and even more, that there is no need to make an unplanned trip home in the middle of it.

Good morning! Sunny and crisp describes our morning in Brandon. We need several days without rain to let the soggy ground dry a bit.

Just looked out the window in the breakfast area and saw a cardinal looking at me from the roof of the carport. Made me get up and check to see if the feeder was empty already. It’s not. The other day I was on the computer in the basement (which has windows on one side) and one cardinal brushed against the window screen while another watched. And boy their feeders were completely empty. Got to give them credit. They know how to get my attention.

We’ve a bluebird family moving into the backyard bluebird house. I put out a brand new house in the front with a copper roof. I hope a pair will pick out that fancy place and call it home for the season.

The Legislature doesn’t convene until 4 pm today and probably won’t do anything until tomorrow. I may just watch on the computer and wait until tomorrow to go to the Capitol.

Hope everybody has a great start to the week.

    Morning, it’s a beautiful day!

Going to the funeral with Rambette.

  9. dhcoop says:

Is it my imagination, or does the “Tiny Wheels Media” truck (in Marshall’s banner) have more mud on it today than it used to have?

Morning. I took the day off to spend it with Cub. He’s got to see the doctor/dentist/oral surgeon, maybe all of them. His wisdom teeth are trying to come in. He said yesterday that he didn’t live for 4 years with braces to have these come in & mess everything up!

    Happy Monday to all…

    • Molly says:

Kiddo had her wisdom teeth removed within 6 months of the braces coming off because they were threatening $5000+ of orthodontia. None of us wanted to go thru all that again.

So far today, I’ve beem synergizing the paradigm shift in order to maxmize ancillary input.

    Really, I have.

    • parrotmom says:

Wow!!!! Blues that sounds very interesting, Really! I wonder what that really means on what you are doing?

      • blues4you says:

I have no idea either, PM. A friend of mine just sent me this text. This was actually said in a meeting he attended this morning.

    • msblondie says:

you gave me a brain hurt with that one.. hehe

    • Mrs. H says:

A paradigm shift is a change from one way of thinking to another. It doesn’t just happen all of a sudden, it sort of evolves one step at a time.

Ancillary input is something that you put into a process that doesn’t become part of the finished product. It doesn’t become incorporated. (Why you’d want to increase that, I don’t know)

To synergize is to cooperate with others in order to fix something (think brainstorm.)

So you are thinking with others about thinking of a new way to have more leftover by-product. :)
(because I love words, especially when they say things in an odd way)

      • blues4you says:

The more you know, the smarter you are. or something to that effect.

Thanks for the translation MrsH :)

        • Airwolf says:

It used to be considered wrong to construct words to disguise meaning but now it is an accepted and established practice. I can’t tolerate it personally. But it is a wide open field for political speech writers and politicians.

  12. parrotmom says:

Thanks MrsH for the explanation. Mighty fancy words to say something so simple.

Evening!!! PD had a good morning. He remembered how to answer his iPhone and to make a call on the other phone. This afternoon he could not remember how to use either phone or even how to turn the tv back on. So I bought another big dry erase board for more notes.

  13. Barb says:

I have a prayer request, please. I took Mother to the doctor this morning. He wanted to put her in the hospital because she has a chest murmur of some kind. She of course refused to go. Please pray that she didn’t endanger her life more than it already is with everything that is wrong with her along with being 86 years old!! Also, her idiot doctor prescribed an antibiotic that would have negatively interacted with her heart medicine. Thank God that Walgreen’s system caught it!!

  14. dhcoop says:

    Evenin

    Prayers and hugs all around!

  15. parrotmom says:

AW I hope you get a good report on your Dad tomorrow. I hope they are seeing improvement and that they will work with him longer.

  16. OldBopper says:

Barb, glad your pharmacist caught the bad interaction between drugs. PM, hoping things will get better with PD. AW, hoping your Dad gets to go home soon. Prayers for all in need.
