Good morning and Marshall I hope your week is great too after such a rough weekend.

Mawnin’ y’all. Headed to the cardiologist this morning for my semi-annual checkup. Then to the eye doctor to have my eyes checked one last time following cataract surgery.

    Hey folks.

Doing things for science today. Procedures that I normally don’t see while drilling. It’s fun stuff. Hopefully the information gathered will lead to more wells being drilled than the 4 that’s planned for now.

    Y’all be careful out there.

  4. Mrs. H says:

Blues, you sound like me during VBS. I try to get kids to understand that science really IS fun stuff.

Today, I’ll try to keep my mind focused on the fact that technology is fun stuff, WHEN you figure out how to operate it. Adding video to my ProPresenter training this week.

Morning. Hubby called, on his way to the job in Florida, to tell me not to get out today. Supposed to be really hot. He will be out in the heat all day, it’s his job, and he’s worried about me! :)

morning gang! hope all have a good day!

    MrsH: Technology is fun! :)

The maintenance guru is on the local VFD. He has a radio clipped to his collar all the time. I was talking to him and I heard horrific wounds being described over the radio and was starting to get worried when he reminded me that it was a practice “mad shooter” drill at the community college. It’s amazing to me what we must be prepared for.

Been to the Doctors and am pleased to announce I am good to go for the moment. Cardiologist appt, one year from now and eye doctor 6 months from now.

First appointment was at 9 and the second was at 10 and I was home before 10:30. That’s a good start to the day. Now I get to cut grass.

    • Airwolf says:

I’m glad you got a good report. I’ve been on the cardiologist diet since I was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic six years ago. If it tastes good, spit it out.

  9. Legal Eagle says:

I have a call in to my eye doctor’s office. His nurse is supposed to call me back. I woke up with a horrible pain in my right eyeball and have been alternating between a warm washrag and a piece of ice in the washrag. It’s too sensitive to stand the saline solution and hurts like a sob.

  10. Airwolf says:

Hey folks. My visitors left early this morning. We ran here and there for three days. Solitude has been nice this morning

LE I hope you can get some relief!

  11. blues4you says:

Weelll, scientific stuff didn’t go very well. They’re going to try it again. This will add one more day to the job. Win/win for me.

Glad you got good news, OB.

Don’t get too hot cutting grass, AW. I know you probably have some that needs it. Neighbors at home are starting to ask Mrsblues when I’m coming home. I think I’ve spoiled them with all my mowing.

Hope you get your some relief soon, LE.

Blues, it’s almost too hot to walk to the mailbox. Didn’t cut grass this afternoon. Will try first thing in the morning.

  12. Mrs. H says:

    Leagle, how you doin’, girl?

  13. Msblondie says:

The greatest generation lost another member this weekend. My great uncle past Saturday.. He received a purple heart for battle on omaha beach during wwii.

These men and women are going faster and faster. They deserve so much from us.

Well everyone have a great evening.

    • Legal Eagle says:

I’m sorry to hear that, MsBlondie. You’re absolutely right about how fast we are losing the ones we have left. I had a friend who was in the Battle of the Bulge and he died last year.

  14. Legal Eagle says:

1:15 a.m. My eye is still killing me, but I spent a while this afternoon at my opthamologist’s office. The nurse put some pain killer drops in and the doctor took a q-tip looking thing with sponges on the ends and dabbed around on my eye. He said it looks like I’m getting an infection on my lid. He gave me some eye drops and a prescription ointment. I’m wondering now why I didn’t ask for some of those pain killer drops. I already cancelled my Wednesday game just in case and haven’t done any calling for the Thursday game. Someone called me when I was on the way home this afternoon saying they couldn’t get to their Monday night game and could I please go fill in for her. I told her sorry, not this time.
