    Morning! My Dad is going to help me build a deck today. I’m excited! I’ve wanted to do this for a while and just decided this week to tackle the project. I’ll post pics on fb when we finish!

    Here ya go-brought some fresh fruit and Rice Krispy treats.

    Y’all, I look (and feel) like I’ve been beaten! Legs are bruised too, but ya know what? The long wall beside the tub was finished Tuesday (still have some finish work to do around the window), the wall with the faucets has all the detail work done, and over talf the wall tiled-maybe 4 rows of 5 to finish that wall, then the opposite wall remaining, which will be 14 rows of 5 tiles. Add in the bullnose trim, grout those walls and stick a fork in it. Without Thing 2’s help, there’s no way it would be moving this quickly. Speaking of, he’s applying for a job at Lazy Boy today. Say a little prayer for him too, please!
    Gotta get moving… I’ll try to check in later.

    Thanks for the fruit and Rice Krispie treats, Clucky. Blues, I wished I enjoyed hit tea. I hope you enjoy your days off and bring home. Hopefully, you will be off just enough time, and back to the grind sooner, than later.

    Morning! Finally got Daddy back to the Meadows late yesterday! Mom said one of her cats died last night, funeral today. Guess I’ll go do the honors!

    I’ve a sore mouth, had to have a $3000 bridge replaced yesterday! Wallet hurts worse than my mouth! Got a temp that feels like a concrete block it’s so porous!

    BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT IS DONE & Orville’s doing excellent!!! Will continue to keep a close eye on his vital signs today, but don’t anticipate any problems. All the prayers have worked and we thank you so much! Now that his stem cells are home, they need start regrafting and multiplying. He’s going have some rough days ahead as the rest of his blood counts hit bottom, but they will start to rise after 7-10 days. He will need us to pray for continued strength. Love to all! ♥

    It’s time for a Baby Jane Update:

    “Great news today! Eye doc says Jane’s eyes are good. Her retinas, optic nerves, etc all look good! We were pretty sure she was ok but its good to hear for sure! Line of the day though was as Jane fussed at her doc, Natalie [her 2 year old cousin] said, “Baby Jane don’t like doctors.” Lol we agree! Oh! And she smiled at me last night. It was so awesome!” ~from her mom’s FB page.

    A critter hunter is supposed to come and put cage in attic in hopes catching something. Hopefully he will show up or at least have good reason why he cannot make it. So tired of some folks never following through. Oops!!

    Flitting through. Glanced back at yesterday’s FFA’s and saw where Blues stumbled through and forgot the tea. That’s okay, I cooked me some at dinner. Polishing off the last of it. I do hope daddy has a ginormous pot of coffee ready when I get to his house this afternoon.

    Oh, my new nephew is here! Levi something Marshall. No middle name yet. My sisters have offered we could name him Levi Garrett and nickname him “Chaw” (now you’ve got to be real southern to understand that word. )

    Springing for Chicklette’s first manicure. Today is the only time we could squeeze it in. School lets out early on Fridays, and tomorrow after school, all the band members are bringing a pillow and blanket to watch “The Chronicles of Narnia” before the game tomorrow night. It always gets them “more in the spirit” of their show to see the inspiration! 48 hours from now, we’ll know if we make finals. Only (5) 2A bands even made it to state this year, as only bands with All Superior ratings go forward to state. So, one band will not perform in the finals as only the top 4 will move on. Craziness and confusion, fo’ sho!!

    Evenin!

    Just got off the phone with my Baby Girl. It’s official. She’s single. First time in her life. It’s a whole new world. Gonna be a rocky road, but she’s got the tread to handle it!

    My back is better, but not 100%. Ibuprofen/alleve combo seems to be helping. Good news is I managed to get in through the kitchen window when I realized that I had locked the keys in the house. That involved climbing a ladder and over a sink, on to a cabinet and then the floor (all while needing to pee). The ole’ mare AIN’T what she used to be, but she can darn sure climb in a window when necessary!!! :)

    Caught one raccoon. I saw a face of another as yet another was climbing the PVC type poll that covers the electrical wires going into my meter base. The critter guy will be back tomorrow afternoon with a couple of cages. He was thinking at least 6 the mom and 5 babies. The one caught was 6 months old. The other one I saw was the same size. There are quite a few places on the underside of the eaves sort of like vinyl siding stuff but metal is torn down in several places, some of the smaller sections pop back together and some I just don’t know yet. What I can fix they pull it apart or their body weight does.

    This has got to be the most bizarre campaign ad I have ever seen. And it’s obviously aimed at my Em!! I believe she is wise enough NOT to believe the lie.
