    Good morning, Boss!

Mawnin’ y’all! No shopping for me on Black Friday. Been there, done that, never got a good deal worth the hassle. If you like the hassle, enjoy.

Boss, hope you sell lots and lots of books. I think I’m still full from yesterday. If overindulgence was a felony, I’d be slated for a life term.

Hope those at work have a good day in spite of the hassle and those off today enjoy themselves to the hilt.

morning .. or is it night.. I am not sure at this point.. I did grab a few hours snooze between the different opening times. so I had 2 rounds of shopping. For the most part got everything went after and a few more things. Even a a nice experience in target.. after something for M – out of size needed and a lady standing there had 2 of the size i needed and she gave me one of hers. I was very shocked and very thankful. I guess that was my payback for being nice in Walmart earlier when I helped one of the associates with a couple the pallets.

    everyone have a great day!

Morning! No Black Friday shopping for me. Learned a lesson about 4 years ago. Wasn’t worth the frustration and crowds.

I hope your day is great.

    Mornin!

I’d rather take a beating than go shopping, much less today!

Made Mom, lil sis and Cub very happy yesterday by giving them their copies of Fried Chicken and Wine!!

I’ve already eaten turkey, rolls and sweet potato casserole this morning, and its not even 11 yet. :)

had chocolate cake for breakfast. I drove by Walmart a little while ago to see only a few cars in the lot. Probably different than what it was in the early hours.
I went to the cemetary and watched the wildlife and it was so peaceful until a worker on a gator chased the geese to make them leave. It broke my heart to see one that had a hurt wing and couldn’t fly. I normally don’t say anything but I went to the office to complain. I know geese are a hassle and poop everywhere. I was told that that was not part of the groundskeeper job to chase them like that.

El has been at home every day of their week off. I’m taking her to the movies this afternoon. Em has had several social outings, one of which included at trip to Jackson. Mr. H’s office is completed. Right now, he is adding some ends to the shelves the albums will rest on (think of the horizontal bar on a capital H). He is an engineering marvel. And as a result of all the remodeling, I now have an art gallery wall. I’ll have to go take a picture so you can see.

WOW! Nice Marshall! Sleek new Cadeliac you have trotted out there. Niiicceee.

I wanted to get on yesterday, but every time my tail feathers hit the chair at moms I was either drawing with my niece and nephew or snoozing in the corner.

I spent Wednesday night with mama and spent yesterday from about noon on eating then eating something else. Mama spread a cloth over the food and we just grazed when we wanted all afternoon long.

My little sis came down from New Albany along about six or so and we went to Wal-Mart for the Black Friday sales that started Thursday at 8. it was a PACKED MADHOUSE. But no one was unruly.

this morning we got back out at Five becaus she wanted something that went on sale this morning. I set my rooster, that is CardinalSon, he rolled me out of bed and got me going. I looked like warmed over death.

At Wal-Mart this morning I heard this lady scream “Help!” and then “Help Me!” and I scurried over. Her husband was having a stroke. I held him up in the seat while we waited on the ambulance to get there. I don’t know how he fared. He had two stints put in Tuesday. Shook me up. The man reminded me of my dad.

I came in to work about two hours ago and have to stay here until closing. it has been DEAD. I’m alone in the house! I’ve got to write this story about a lady who has been at all 60 of uur Chrismas parades.

  10. Molly says:

Wow, CLady. That was an exciting trip to WalMart! Hope the man is okay!

I hadn’t planned to go out today, but did. Pups woke me up a little after 6:00 and I decided to go see if I could still get a deal on a digital camera at Best Buy. Left the house around 7:00. Got the camera. Olympus 16MP, 10x zoom. $80. Not bad. Then went to a little boutique that had a bracelet Kiddo wants on sale for about $20 off. Got the last one they had. Mom wanted me to check on something at Target; they didn’t have it. Hubby was with me and suggested we go to the I-55 Target. Still no luck. He then suggested we go to Northpark (he’s NOT a shopper generally). We wandered the mall a while and got the goodies for Kiddo’s stocking. Got home around 10; Kiddo was still asleep and never knew we went out.
Now my Christmas tree is up and the house decorated. Even roasted a turkey and made dressing today. (No leftovers in the house since we ate at Mom’s; so had to make some of my own). Now I’m ready for bed!

  11. Clucky says:

Still snoozing. My blood type is now “cream cheese.”

  12. parrotmom says:

Wow, some of you were lucky, Clady glad you were there to help out on your event. I know that had to be very scary after it was all over.
