Good morning to you all. It’s 9:00 am this time. Pouring like crazy outside with a temp of 37 at my house. Praying this wet stuff doesn’t change. You all be safe out there on this wild winter day.
Morning! Flitting in. *take note down off of computer cabinet that you ignored last friday anyway* *siiiggghhh*
Send that ice on Coop! I’m ready for it! Got my boots all oiled up and ready, repaired my barn boots yesterday with a little bit of hot glue.
*snicker* I went to let my chickens out yesterday morning and they looked at me like, you expect us to come out? Really? So I quietly shut the door and let them spend the day inside. Got the same reaction this morning. I was glad because wind hurts chickens worse than cold does. They have plenty of food and water and they are not running around too much so they aren’t eating much.
Alright, gotta get this paper to bed. Editor is chomping at the bit to get going so we can get outta here.
1:40 pm the temp at my home dropped to 32 a little over an hour ago. Of course this is my temp gage. Per channel WJTV and WLBT they say the Ice will stay west of us. I sure hope they are right. Anyway. I went and bought me my staple items, hot chocolate, cookies, and chocolate. I already have the Dt Dr Peppers. LOL!! I left the bread, water, hot dogs, and mild for everyone else.
Hello. Wet and cold over at the Rez. Still showing 34 degrees here. Forecast says it will warm up after dark. What kind of sense does that make?
Glad you have chocolate on hand, PM. You are ready for anything now! :)
You can keep it up there! Kosciusko had ice on the trees around 330. I’ve been a busy bee-and yes, I stayed awake after my rude early awakening. Mr. Fab has had mercy on my soul and we ordered pizza.
I’ve changed clothes 3 times today. My hair is still wet (again) but I’m just going to let it dry. Drying my hair twice in one day can’t be good for it!
I received my copies of Fried Chicken and Wine today! I’m curled up under the covers trying to thaw out while I read. 4 cats and 3 dogs on me or beside me. Mr. Fab will have to relocate at least 2 to get in his spot :) Chicklette is dying to get her hands on my book. I told her I would finish it by tomorrow morning so she can take it to school. The other two copies are for Poppy and my brother who starts his student teaching this week. He’s convinced this book will land MR on the NY Times best seller list!
I’m fried chicken free, so I had a Little Debbie cake with it. That’s about as country, right?
Mornin!
I had a terrific weekend with my family. Gonna miss Big Sis and BIL when they are gone. Leaving tomorrow. :(
I didn’t watch the Globes, but am not really much on awards shows anyway.
Really hoping the ice stays north. Y’all stay safe out there!

Good morning! It is a cold raw day. Good excuse to stay in, flu is running wild and I don’t need it!
Try to stay dry and warm!
morning again… I can’t get warm.
Busy this morning which is good.
MsB I can’t get warm either. I checked the temp here in Clinton and has now dropped to 35 at my home. Brrrrrr!!! The time is 11:20.
it’s not nearly as cold down here: just chilly and nasty.
