Good morning! Pray for our old friend Stacey. Her precious little boy Ace is going through some tough times and Ace, Stacey and Drew need our thoughts and prayers right now.

You are so right Marshall, prayers for this family. They have come through so much and have more challenges ahead (((((((Stacey, Drew, and Ace)))))))).

The colors in the skies have been so beautiful in the mornings and evenings, please take time to notice!!! Have a great day or st least try even though it isn’t always easy.

Morning! It’s Mom and Dad day! I’ll be off and running soon. This roller coaster weather is strange.

    Prayers to all in need.

I’ve had Ace, Stacey and Drew in my prayers too since I read her posts on FB. The old phrase “this is going to hurt me worse than it hurts you” came to my mind. And I’m sad to hear about Cardinallady’s relative who died suddenly apprently at a young age and in front of her children. She was doing something for them right up until the last second of her life.

I was so glad to hear that Orville is doing so much better now and hope he continues to improve each day.

I have 16 for bridge this afternoon. Our luncheon for this month and last week’s 4 tables of bridge were cancelled due to the big blizzard last week. Oh, please! Don’t even get me started.

Y’all have a great day! I have to go to the library this afternoon and I’ve requested a good many, so I hope they have some good ones waiting for me. I’ve recently discovered Debbie Macomber and Joe Lee and love both of their books.

Morning! Flitting through. Trying to get yesterday’s work done today. The changing news business can carry you other places like to the jail for a 20 suspect round up or to a fire. It was one of those days yesterday. Editor hit the fire and I did the jail story since they were going on at the same time.

Yesterday morning just WASN’T after I got the call from my sister.

Ace. I don’t have time to look on facebook because of the slow go on it. I don’t think Stacey is one of my friends. Please one of you email me at regina.butler@journalinc.com and let me know what is going on with my little darling.

Blues, hope you will soon come out of the land of swimmy head.

My good news is I get to have supper with CardinalSon tonight! He is coming to church to help interview a youth pastor prospect. So I told him we’d eat before he goes back north.

  8. Mrs. H says:

C-Lady, I sent you Stacey’s recent FB posts so you can read in her words.

  9. CornPop says:

Seeing the comments about my fb post reminded me that I neglected to put the same news here and for that I do apologize!

I know that I haven’t really given you much of an update on my husband, Orville, lately…

Yesterday Day 90 after transplant, he was “set free”, and I’ve been shedding tears of joy! His blood counts started rising on their own right after Christmas and he’s continued to improve each day. He went for a check-up yesterday morning and his doctor was so very pleased with his progress and blood counts that she said he no longer has to be isolated in any way, no more wearing a mask when he leaves the house or when he’s around people, and no more restricted diet! Of course, common sense still rules. When he left the clinic it was lunchtime and he drove down the road trying to decide which fast-food, bad-for-you lunch he wanted to eat – LOL! He’ll go back to the doctor in 10 days so they can do a “100-Day work up”, which will include a PET Scan and MRI to make sure all is still clear with no more cancer rearing its ugly head, but she anticipates continued good reports.

The power of prayer is such a awesome thing and we can’t thank you enough for all the prayers you’ve sent up for us!

I’m also sending up my own prayers for Ace, Stacey and Drew – bless them! And for CL’s relatives!
