Morning Marshall and others. Enjoy your morning in Oxford.

I finally went to sleep after 1:00 this morning. I hope everyone faired well through the winds. I hear Memphis and Nashville have power outages, don’t know about our Land Mass.

    Happy Wedneday, hugs and prayers.

morning gang! I remember hearing the weather alarm once during the night (after 10pm) but I dont think it got to bad in my little corner.

PM: about your modem yes it is possible for it to be going out. Before getting a new one, unplug the one you have completely and let it sit a few minutes then plug it back up and log back into it. Sometimes a full reset is all it needs.

    Everyone have a great day!

Lets remember Grammar Girls family, apparently a close family member will be having surgery. Pray for healing.

  4. parrotmom says:

Thanks MsB I will do that this evening. I did power my Oc down last night, but did notice all the lights in the desk modem were working this morning.

Mornin. Sun is started to peek out. Still have some dark clouds around, though. I knew the wind was blowing last night, but that didn’t keep me awake. I feel asleep during the 10 o’clock news and was out cold. There is some wind damage to our office building this morning. Just twigs and leaves down around my house a mile away. Power outages were a couple more miles down the road. Guess my house was just out of the way of the damaging winds.
Now, back to work. Got plenty of it to keep me entertained today.
    Have a great day, everybody!

Morning folks! It was a loud night, actually early this morning. Nothing major to report in my area. Some damage in Tupelo. I heard it blew the windows out of some businesses. Baby Darling lost power and Lineman had to go into work. All in all we fared well. I’m headed out to my BIL house and check for damage. They’re out of town working.

    Hey folks.

There’s a cold wind blowin’ in east Tx today.

    • Mrs. H says:

sorry you’ll have to cut and paste. A man boarded a school bus yesterday afternoon, shot the driver and took a kid into a bomb shelter on his property. As far as I can tell, he’s still there.

  8. Mrs. H says:

I just saw that Stacey’s Ace is being discharged tomorrow! Hooray!!!!!!!

  9. parrotmom says:

I see sunshine off at a distance. Still a lot of clouds though.

MrsH I heard about that in the news last night did not know it had not been resolved.

*salute* Red tailfeathers dragging through. Had damage to houses in our city. Been out taking pictures. Lots of HUGE trees down. I could lay down on the floor and go to sleeprigt now All I need is a pillow. got up at 1:30 and watched storm through two thirty then caught a nap until 7:30 and been up and going since.

    Had 21 homes damaged.

  11. parrotmom says:

Prayers CLady for your area. Glad just damage on no loss of life.

That wind is fun. I had to stop and get gas the wind was so strong it blew my car door shut. The sweet gum balls are playing havoc on my roof.

Hope you all have a nice evening.

  12. OldBopper says:

Evening! Wind blew some twigs off the trees and caused it to rain sweet gum balls. No real weather warnings in out area. I don’t count weather radio as a real warning. They get hyper every time there’s a cloud in the sky. No siren warnings last evening.

Had our annual chili cookoff at church this evening. I didn’t win anything this year but there was a lot of very good chili for us to sample.
