Good morning. He is Risen, Hallejueh!

Marshall waht a beautiful sunrise you have posted. There is still hope in this world amongst the turmoil. A question was asked this past Wednesday night. How has God and his word survived all these thousands of years? Love! Love of God, love of our parents that has passed it down from generation to generation, and the love of others that continue to pass the message on to those that may not have been brought up in the church with these beliefs. Thank you God for loving us this much that you sent you only Son to die for our sins, so that we may have eternal life with God.

Love you all, Happy Easter and enjoy your time with family and friends.

Happy Easter everybody! Last night at the Easter Vigil we had a beautiful service beginning with candle light and ending with full electric lights. It’s the first time in forty days that we have uttered the word, “Alleluia”. It wasn’t just uttered, it was shouted. We had flowers in the church for the first time since Lent and a fully dressed ornate altar with bright colored kneeling pads. One of our choir members is a baritone who teaches at Millsaps and sings in the Chicago Opera. He and the choir did a wonderful job on several spirituals. Afterwards we had a wonderful reception in the parish hall with more flowers and lots of food and even more desserts.

This morning we had the choir and an orchestra for the music. It was a happy and meaningful service.

Came home and finished putting the light bar on Bleuz. Glad to get that task completed.

Went up on my roof yesterday to clean out gutters and remove a dead bird. I was shocked to see what the hail did to the roof shingles. Our hail wasn’t big but must have been powerful. Will contact my insurance agent Monday.

I hope everybody is having a wonderful Easter. There’s plenty of reasons to celebrate the occasion.

I’ll have a new job to announce on Monday. It’s only temporary but should be fun.

I have the BEST son-in-law ever. He took El practice driving in the truck.

And I wasn’t referring to him above, but the Louisville player with the Joe Theismann injury.

Morning! The last thing I remember before my eyes fell shut was watching the stone roll away and Jesus appear to Mary and the Disciples. It made for sound sleep, indeed!

Poppy came up Saturday morning and left before noon on Sunday. It was a short, but good visit.

My friend starts yet another round of chemo this morning. 3 days in a row every 3 weeks. His strength and determination continue to amaze me!

Miss Thang is out of school again today, and as such, the scheduled tennis match today cannot “officially” happen, especially not on campus. The 2 schools will be meeting at a college campus today for what amounts to a scrimmage game. The clouds should break up soon. Here’s hopin the sun shines through and dries up the courts for a beautiful afternoon!

Love y’all! Have a good day!
