Good morning. My co-worker is headed to the beach this morning to spend some time with her former co-workers (teachers who are off for spring break). I hope she doesn’t blow away on the the way down!! There is a slightly smaller chance of rain than was in the forecast yesterday. We’re hoping for a better day tomorrow. If not, there is the Tanger Outlet Mall on the way down where we can spend the morning. :)

Got to figure out what we’re going to do Sunday for the chill’ens

Morning! Dreary looking day outside. That warm weather spoiled me. Oh well, this will pass. The weekend is supposed to be pretty.

Pine pollen is everywhere on everything. I had 8 pines removed last year and it wouldn’t take much encouragement to get me to take the rest down. That’s just yucky stuff.

The Legislature is about to leave town. Then life can return to normal.

I hope the weather for our pic-a-nic will be good.

Clucky .. here is a can of Lysol… no desire to share in the germs :)

LOL! Legal. You cracked me up. Of course we were spraying oust everywhere two weeks ago when our gneral manager came in with a flu mask and explained to us that she, who sat beside us all the day before with fever, had the flu.

YES! I hope the weather is pretty for the picnic too. I can’t wait to get there. I’m gonna NEED that weekend to keep me from coming apart at the feathered wings.

morning everyone. Going to get my taxes done, oh boy!!! Will be interesting to see what changes there will be since PD is know longer.

Today is my celebration in the Life of PD. One year ago today he went home. He told me that day after being moved to Hospice, “I thought I was going home today?” I told him when he felt better that he would and at 8:00 pm he did. Praise God he was no longer suffering. For me the worst time was the day of the funeral knowing other than pictures and memory I would not see him again. I don’t know what our spiritual being will look like, but I know I will recognize him and he will be beautiful.

Love and hugs to you all.

Taxes done and am smiling. Eating Mexican because I think it will be the only thing I will taste. Head is all stopped up.

Got Sunday all mapped out and everyone seems happy with the plan.

Em found out today that pants are not culturally appropriate for the part of the world she will be visiting this summer, so we’ll be looking at some longer skirts for her at the outlet mall. Her diminished height makes that easier than it would be for any of my other daughters. I may still have to break out the sewing machine, though. Short seems to be the “in” style.

  10. parrotmom says:

MrsH what area will Em be going too, I understand if you have to be sort of non-specific?

  11. parrotmom says:

Going to see Third Day tonight at Broadmoor Baptist.

  12. Airwolf says:

Evening! Today was Mom and Dad day. So it’s been busy.

It’s been raining and cold all day!

    Now for some mindless tv!

I hearded 20 seniors into our bridge game this afternoon. Sometimes it’s like herding cats. Some weeks go very smoothly but when they decided to be bugaboos, which this week decided to be, things get tougher. I had several cancellations several days ago, mostly because of illness of some kind or another and every time I got a cancellation, I called around and got that spot filled. I will still accepting cancellations and making calls this morning – the day of the big event. Oh, boy! After making at least 30 calls, I got the extra spots filled and was deeply relieved when all 20 spots were filled at 1:00 p.m.

We are going to have to have an up close and personal confrontation with the reps at the AT&T office. BE called and they said to go locally. Somehow my iphone is limited to one GB per month, while BE has unlimited on line time on his iphone. The problem is that he never goes on line and I’m on mine constantly playing Words With Friends, Word Trick, Gems With Friends and Scramble With Friends. I have now used 90% of my 1 GB until the 16th of this month and that is just horse pucky! We are going to have to somehow convince them that I’m the one who needs the unlimited access. I know a child’s tantrum sometimes gets attention, but I wonder what they would do if a senior citizen threw herself down on the floor and kicked her feet and took other (in)appropriate actions as the necessity arose. My computer is still messed up and won’t go on WWF or WT on my computer.

Oh, Clucky, did you call Robert Downey, Jr. to wish him a happy 48th birthday today?

  14. Clucky says:

    No dear…
    *MEOOOOOW*
Only 6 weeks between he and Mr. Fab ;)
