Morning folks! The severe weather cut acroos the state south of us. We did get massive amounts of rain. Prayers for all those folks in Noxubee and Kemper counties.
Good news is that a lot of pollen was washed away.
We still have Bear with us. His Dad is very sick with the flu.
I’m going outside and enjoy some of this beautiful sun. It’s too wet to mow, maybe tomorrow!

BE was sick as a dog last night, but feels better this morning. I hope he had the same thing I had a couple of weeks ago, terrible when it strikes, but then it’s gone.
Nothing, not a thing, on my calendar today. Oh, happy day!
Morning!! Halleljuah we can breathe again!! SEVEN DAYS!!!! seven days!!! and I’m heading South. I went to see CardinalSon last night. It was worth the hour drive. He had supper waiting for me. We both talked of how we are ready to get away for a couple or three days together.
Here, I am. I finally found myself. Was on the phone with AT&T for awhile. Trying to decrease my landline bill and was told a couple weeks ago to go Uverse. They switched my internet but not my phone? I received a bill higher than it was supposed to be? Come to find out not all the work order went through as it was supposed to—-surprise, surprise!!! So now I think we are on the same page. I went through this kind of stuff with them last year on the two iPhones and switching from PD to my name. L
Now if I can get Entergy and I on the same page about some down tree limbs on a line that has caused my security light not to work before the rains yesterday. They came by on Tuesday and left a note saying call them when I get ready to cut the tree? the limbs are already detached
The sun is beautiful and am on my way out to Home Depot for some replacement spot lights and then back home to study some more.
Hello. Got up and going this morning. Took a stack of Kiddo’s castaway clothes to a consignment shop. What they didn’t want went to Goodwill. Now I’m gonna clean house a bit and go get a hair cut. I could get used to not going in to the office!
Molly, my house could use cleaning too if you are up this way …
After the initial shock, it’s surprising how quickly one can adjust to not going in to the office. Deal the cards!!!

Entergy came by, but didn’t stop to talk again, the man calls me over an hour later and says he didn’t see any concerns. I told him he was on the wrong side to see to come by and let me know when he was here. So he did then he saw about my concern and said they didn’t care. Ok, fine with me. Wasn’t a main line. Ok fine, now I just hope they get my security light working on Monday.
Evening! PQ left this afternoon for an Episcopal Church Women’s conference at Gray Center. She’ll be back late tomorrow afternoon.
Had a great ride on Bleuz this afternoon. About a hundred miles in all. Then I got to feeling sorry for Boule. I take Boule out for a 5-6 mile spin once or twice a week. So I decided to give him a good workout and we went for about a 35 mile ride. I had forgotten how silky smooth shaft drive is. Boule rides like a big bike. Mighty good on the highway.
I listed Boule once on Craig’s List and need to get serious about selling him. PQ has said I could get a Miata but I need that money to go with my Civic to make the payments work for me. Goodness, I haven’t had a car payment in years and years. I may just borrow money against a CD for a lower interest rate.
Things are going well with my new unpaid part time job. Lots of stuff is happening. And…organizations are starting to hit me up for contributions. I don’t know why they always hit up elected officials for donations. When I was in office, I never changed my giving habits and I’m still not. At least this time they can’t threaten to vote against me cause I’m not running for anything.
Hope we get good weather for Saturday of next week. Legal, do we go in on the school side or the highway side? Here’s hoping Coop’s ‘maters are ready to pick ;~).
The parking lot gets full sometimes, but maybe next Saturday it won’t be too bad. There is an entrance on the school side just south of Highway 80. Turn off 80 like you’re going to the schools and take a quick left into the parking area if it is full. If it is full, there is parking at the first school. That’s better than parking on 80 and closer than parking on the other side of the park.
PM, I’ll tell you my land line story. We had problems every time it rained. The repairman always said it was us, not them. Finally I had enough of their nonsense when the repairman said I would have to rewire the entire house to solve the problem. I told him I can solve that problem right now. Went and got my loppers and cut the line coming into the house. I told him my problem was fixed. He was mumbling something as he got back in his van and pulled off. Called AT&T on my cell and told them I just cut off their service and was through with them. About a week later they called and wanted to know what they could do to get my business back. I told them what the repairman said. They said they would be glad to rewire my house for nothing if I would resubscribe to their service. I told them I wasn’t interested. Haven’t had AT&T since.
Morning folks 10:00 am Saturday. Beautiful outside and cold inside the house. I just finished up a tape for a customer. It’s been several years since I was able to do cassette audio tapes, but it went fine with the new stuff.
OB that’s one way to end a relationship. Entergy did fix the security light yesterday and even though it was a contractor he said that pole where all the junk limbs were was a hazard and needed to be cleaned off. Oh well I had lights and had some new solar lights on my courtyard. I have two butterfly solar lights for the cemetary one for PD’s grave the other for my parents.
