Tuesday Free-For-All

Ran this morning like I do most mornings. Thought about the Boston Marathon. I’ve run one (The Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C.) so I had no problem imagining myself being there.  Then I thought about the heroics of the first responders and the crowd, who saved so many of the injured with their quick thinking.

There was a lot to think about this morning. That’s why I run.

Morning everyone, looks like vacation is over. My test is today. Thinking and praying for Boston, the injured, the deceased, and their families. So glad I live in a country that Americans pull together in times like this.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”

I thank God that here are always people who are helping, no matter what.

Hello Everyone! Dog update – no nerve damage so just healing. I am so glad there is no permanent damage.

Prayers for all involved in the Boston Marathon tragedy. I don’t guess I will ever understand what motivates someone to do this kind of crap.

Went to the dentist this morning. Rode Bleuz. On the way back one of my turn signals came loose and was dangling. So when I got home I checked it out. The new fastener supplied with the Yamaha light bar is made of plastic. The plastic broke. I checked the other and found it had broken too. So I am taking the brand new light bar off while I try to find a way to attach the turn signals. It kinda ticks me off.

Headed to Tupelo tomorrow and back after lunch on Thursday. Saturday is shaping up to be a beautiful day. Looking forward to seeing everybody. I’m especially looking forward to Coop’s homegrown tomatoes. :~) Well I can at least wish.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone as well! OB, they won’t be mine, but I do have an Inside track on some awesome tomatoes, so you WILL have fresh mater on your burger!

I’m going to bring hamburger patties and buns, and some charcoal.

Looking forward to catching up with y’all!

Y’all tell me what to bring!!

There’s been a lot of hurt here in our little world this week. A young lady that grew up across from us lost her husband (25 yrs old) to a massive heart attack yesterday morning. The whole town is just in shock, then the added shock of the Boston bombing. I also read that Roger Wicker was the addressee of an envelope intercepted at the Capitol that contained ricin. Shaking my head.

I’ll be in Jxn tomorrow (Wednesday) for more fun tests! SARCASM When I finish, I plan to visit my friend Tom at Baptist. He went in the ER Sunday morning after just about dying this weekend. (I love that his doctor called his Sunday night and told him to come over or he would come get him!!) After that, I hope to get to meet one of our state treasures :) If it works out, I’ll let y’all know!
