Day three of this cold or whatever it is. Amy is going to the doctor today to see if she has the flu. If she does, then I probably do, too. Right now, though, I am just enjoying some good over-the-counter drugs and am plowing through the day. And staying far, far away from my co-workers.

Mornin. MY AT&T Uverse modem went out last night. I have no phone (landline), Internet, or television service. New modem is being shipped but won’t be here until tomorrow.
Hubby is working overtime – which means he gets off work at 4:30 pm instead of 2:00 pm. He doesn’t trust his elderly car in heavy traffic. He’s afraid it will overheat with the constant stopping and starting on Lakeland Drive. SO..I get to take him to work at 5:30 every morning. Yay me! Kiddo is picking him up at 4:30 on days she doesn’t work. He has to stay until after 5:00 on days I have to pick him up. I really wish we could afford to buy a more reliable vehicle for him!
mornin! Now to get my paper to bed
Flying back around, it was great to see my Bear in his yard this morning. He barked for the first time today when I went to feed the chickens. I”ve missed that bark.

MrsH as we have found on here that it is a small world. It is amazing how that item made it to someone that knew your dad.
Molly when my Diah receiver went out it was a little quiet, but I can go all day without turning the tv on. Taking hubby to work that early puts a kink in that daily round trip to work, especially when your office is so close to home.
OB glad MIL is doing better and PQ will be home soon.

Marshall, I went for my annual skin check this morning. Got an all clear and some liquid nitrogen on some spots! Now feel like I fought some wasps and lost.
I’ve got to cut Mom’s lawn later today, two acres of it before the rain moves in!
It’s a getting cloudy around here
PM, the tv doesn’t bother me too much – though I will miss seeing NCIS tonight – but I am online a lot. And Kiddo has homework assignments that can only be done online outside of school hours. She’ll have to either go to the library tonight or to a friend’s house. It is an inconvenience!
Phone is out too – but I don’t mind that. Don’t get many calls from anyone not selling something or wanting donations.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Hubby. I guess he had a good day. He is not into birthdays, never has been. He doesn’t like gifts or other acknowledgments – but he didn’t say no to the birthday cake.
Ha, he likes cake, not too many don’t.
