Morning! Do yall realize what a blessing it was that we couldn’t do our picnic this weekend? Our day was perfect without a lot of water standing. God is so good.

I’m still tired this morning. My dogs got after something last night that bit both of them. I was plugging wounds with vaseline and wiping blood for half an hour. They are none the worse for he wear this morning. No one is swelled up, so that’s a good sign. The vaseline will keep other infections out. I could not catch sight of the critter they chased. I could have been a fox or maybe even a coyote. They cornered it on a short noll just above the creek after flushing it from around the chicken house. Mama Cardinal saw them trying to get it at the chicken house, they were jumping up and down around it. I thout it was a possum on top of the roof. So I bailed out into the darkness with a stick and a flashlight. I was going to punch it down and let them take care of shooing it off or whatever. They are sore and tired this morning.

CLady glad you were able to doctor in your babes. When I read your post I pictured you as Granniy from the Beverly Hillbillies grabbing your shotgun and seeing what was up. When I had my dogs it was nothing for me to throw on my housecoat and go out side.

Coop, I don’t miss those early bus stop days! Kiddo’s bus came around at 6:40 when she was in elementary school. By middle school, it was at 7:10. Now she drives and leaves by 7:30. School start time next year is going to be half hour later – at 8:30. She’s going to like being able to sleep until after 7:00.

Evening. Dentist appointment took up most of the morning. Was able to fix PQ’s desk top computer this afternoon. It’s been down about three weeks. It wouldn’t recognize the keyboard. I have done lots of internet research on the subject. Finally came across the answer this afternoon and shazam! It worked.

We were planning to go to the ballgame this evening but decided to stay dry and warm at home.
