Splishy splashy morning. CardinalSon had plans to go fishing. I’m going to encourage him to go on. It’s not lightening and he can fish under the gazebo at our lake just like he would if we were camping on the coat.
Had a great time at my sisters house last night. We had supper with my brother who is in the army … or was in the army . retired now.
Yall have a good morning. I’ll be back. Gotta check emails and down load pictures and write page one stories for next week. Oh and do a business directory story.

I had to take El to school this morning since Em is now out. While I was in town I decided I’d just do the grocery shopping. I got gas at WalMart before going in. Standing at the pump I noticed that my pants were on wrong side out. Yes, I made a detour to the ladies room before grocery shopping.
*giggling* *giggling* I’m so happy I’m not the only one who has clothing problems. Hee hee heee
Too funny MrsH about the pants. I know a woman that had her elastic waist dress slacks on backwards and it was later in the day before she realized it. She was unable to put her change in her pocket.
BE had 4 teeth pulled last Friday and he’s still in misery. He can’t take any of the pain medicine he’s been given for that and for his back. We drove over to Vicksburg Wednesday afternoon to get our Powerball tickets and we were starving so we stopped back by Ameristar for the buffet. He was able to gum enough to get full. I have tickets for 4 more drawings, so y’all keep your fingers crossed.
Just as we were getting back into Pearl the other night, the power steering went out. BE found out that a belt had come off and after getting 2 new belts, getting advice from a neighbor, trying to find out what size star wrench he needs to get, he’s out there trying to figure out how to get the belts on the car. I had tickets for the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast in Pearl this morning, but had to miss it because we couldn’t drive the car up there. I’m looking forward to seeing Jo Dee Messina tomorrow night, even if I have to walk to Pearl Park for Pearl Day. There’s a kariokee (sp?) contest tonight and lots of stuff going on, celebrating Pearl’s 40h birthday! It doesn’t seem possible that Pearl has been a city for 40 years. Seems like only yesterday that the City of Jackson was trying to swallow Pearl up.
Leagle, if BE can take Aspirin and Ibuprofin that’s all he needs. One aspirin three ibuprofin every four hours. PLENTY of WATER at LEAST 8 oz each time he takes it. Or he can do an aspirin one hour ibuprofin each hour for three then back to aspirin. If can’t take aspirin tylenol will do.

I have the Blues for Blues!!! although my weekends are nothing to write home about. I haven’t figured out what to do with myself. Sort of different having cyber friends, co-workers, and others that just say hi elsewhere. No ones mad just different.
