Tuesday Free-For-All

It is a big election day in Jackson.  If you live in the city, go vote. This is a very, very important election for the the city’s future.

Here’s a nice shot I took yesterday.

Morning folks. Prayers for Oklahoma as I watched some of the footage at one of the elementary schools it hurt to see such devastation and tring to have hope for survivors. On the one side i felt a sadness for too much media coverage and the camera just staying fixed to see if a body was brought out or a live person was uncovered. Someone wanting that award for best picture at the cost of some family’s loss. I think technology is great and is beneficial so don’t take me wrong.

Congrats OB on the grands grades and a graduation this weekend of one.
I think Coop also has a grand graduating this weekend also. Congrats to you too!

Afternoon. Been trying to put a drive belt on my mower, grrr #&#! Should not have taken the old one off. It would have been simple to remedy the problem until then. I’ve watched videos, read and re-read the instructions, and finally went to the local Sears store to “look under the hood” of the riding lawn tractors. Since my mower was manufactured in 2009, they changed the configuration of the drive belt installation. Sooooo, I’m going to put the old belt back on and try it out. If it breaks, I’ll still have the new belt and a better knowledge of how to put it on. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Evening folks!! OB sorry for the pain and agony with your mower. I hope you were able to get it going.

Sorry I missed yesterday’s FFA. I got sucked into the tornado coverage (no pun intended) and fell asleep.

OB, both of our mowers have bit the dust. We’ll be getting another one next weekend.

Poppy has invited us down to the coast for the weekend as Mr. Fab’s birthday is next week. We plan to attend Symphony by the Sea in Jones Park in Gulfport on Saturday evening.

2 more days of exams, then graduation Thursday night. So many of these kids I’ve known all their lives. Time seems to go by faster as I get older.

We need a like button. FaceBook has spoiled me. Would like to hear the symphony by the sea.

Still trying to figure out one step in the mower belt installation. A neighbor has a mower just like mine. If I can ever catch him at home, I’ll be able to eyeball his belt and solve the problem. Hope they aren’t away for the weekend.

Oh Jackson, my heart aches for you!
