Mornin. Going at lunch today to get Kiddo’s senior yearbook picture taken. This is just the “drape” picture, not the casual senior portraits. We are waiting until fall to do the others since they will be taken outside and we prefer that she not be covered in sweat!
Can’t believe my baby is about to be a high school senior!

Mawnin’ y’all. Riding mower quit on me yesterday. Hope to put new drive belt on today and finish mowing. Goodness, it’s hot out there. Been trying to figure out how to get hearing aids from the military. FIL and I both need them. I think I have found the key. Medicaid will pay for a medical doctor to examine you to see if you have significant loss of hearing. Then the military will take it from there.

As we get older, we get lots of invitations to have a supreme professional check our hearing and sell us hearing aids. They will want you to sign a waiver saying you don’t need a medical exam. Then you get to pay $1,500 to $2,000 per ear for the do-dads. I have been to one of those for my “consultation” and know I can give a better audiological hearing test than them. I think the consultant is merely a salesman wearing a white coat.

Anyway, FIL received of those invitations and wants to go be checked tomorrow. I’m going with him to keep him from making a big mistake before I can get him to Keesler for a medical examination.

Hot today, ain’t it? Just like it was 3 years ago at Roosevelt at the pikanik! ( and wedding!)

Y’all have a good day. I thought of going SHOCK BLONDE to give Mr. Fab a good scare. I had my eye exam today. My eyes were dilated, and tho it’s wearing off, everything is still a little fuzzy.

Good news today-my BFF that has ovarian cancer had scans yesterday. The results show the only tumor being in the area they are already planning to remove tomorrow (total hysterectomy.) Thank you, sweet Jesus!

Evening.. Happy Anniversary, Clucky & Mr. Fab. I remember that day, HOT but wonderful!

Our main AC unit gave out today…dogs are panting but it’s really not too bad in here right now. I’ve moved Meg’s kennel to the back of the house (where the other AC is still working, struggling but working). Hubby will be home tomorrow & I guess he’ll be getting a new AC for Father’s Day. Can’t think of anything better at the moment.

evening everyone. Good luck OB with the hearing aids.
Happy anniversary to Clucky and Mr Fab.
Congrats to you Coop to see the little one fly off. PNC hope the other unit holds up for you. Too hot not to have them working.
