That’s great for you Marshall. Your mind and body probably are taking you also.

    Morning everyone.

OB I’m like you ready to go some where, thinking of the beach, but not in MS. Haven’t found a place that will take pets. May have to find a place with a back entrance.

    Y-all have a great day.

My planned dental surgery got cancelled due to my heart doctor saying I had to come off some medication before hand. Sooooo, it will be rescheduled giving me time to stop the medication for a few days.

PM, are just talking about Stormy or him and the cats? I’d think a bird would be relatively easy to get accommodations for, but what do I know.

Parrotmom, Red Roof Inn, LaQuinta and Howard Johnson’s are pet friendly hotels. HJ charges $10.00 per night, but gave us a half-price discount when we stayed in Florida for a week. The other two don’t charge anything extra for pets. We stayed at a LaQuinta on the way down there and a Red Roof Inn on the way home.

OB I told them a parrot in a cage, no the cats will be staying at home. I’ll figure something out.

LegalE I really want to stay on the beach and not have to drive to it. I am sure that there are pet friendly places just not where I want it.

    Evenin!

I enjoyed my week playing Grandy with my grandpuppy and grandturtle, but I’m glad to be back home in Gtown!

PM, I’m sure you’ll find a great place to vacation. OB, hopefully you can reschedule soon.

Have a great evening! I’m enjoying mine.

    What a heartbreaker for State.

Mornin. Speaking of broken hearts, Kiddo’s boyfriend broke up with her last night. She’s a very unhappy Kiddo!

Morning folks! I’ve been busy taking care of our dog that was mauled by something, coyote?? He’s never been on a leash but is learning to walk with us. Having to play nurse and flush his drain is a pain. Hopefully get the drain out Friday!

Sorry to hear about Kiddo, tell her what Mom told me, lot of fish in the sea!

    • Molly says:

      Thanks, Airwolf!
Sorry about the pup. I bet he is staying close! Hope your canine nursing duties are over soon.

Morning. Been pulling weeds out of flower bed. Worked until I got soaking wet…a hour. Got a patch about 12′ X 6′ done. Not much headway when the bed is 12′ x 60′. Been threatening to pull everything out of there and plant grass in it’s place. It would look better than a weed patch.

Sorry to hear about Kiddo. Life’s disappointments make you appreciate the good times and there are more good times than bad. I know that won’t do her any good. Raised two daughters and went through that stage.

PQ, here’s a site for you. http://www.vrbo.com/25430 The lady who owns this condo works in the House Clerk’s office during sessions. She is a very nice person. I asked her about a parrot, she said the condo has a “no pet” rule but she thought a parrot would be OK.

This is an older condo built where there are no high rises. You have covered parking under the first floor as the building is on poles. Lollie and I stayed in one of the units around 1991-1992 when a friend of mine owned the entire property. It was a nice location then and I bet it still is.

If a person has never been around a parrot, they have no idea how loud the screech can be. But I bet if you could somehow quieten him when you are out of the unit, it wouldn’t bother anybody. Anyway, check on the site and do what you feel best.
