Morning to the MRBA’ers. Enjoy your day. Marshall good luck with your meeting today.
Mornin. Kiddo is officially a Senior this morning. Can’t believe she’s all grown up!
Prayers for you and her. I’m sure it feels like yesterday that you took her to first day of kindergarten.
Her daddy wrote her a letter last night and left it for her to read this morning. It was about how it seems like just yesterday she was riding around on his shoulders and then starting kindergarten and how he would love to turn back the clock to those fun days, but that would be selfish. He told her how proud he is of the young woman she has become. It was a long, heartfelt letter. I gave it to her this morning (he goes to work early and was gone before she got up). I asked her a little later if she read it. She said, “Yeah. That big dumb butt made me cry. I had to do my makeup all over again.”
Bless his heart. It seems harder for daddies to see their daughters grow up than it is for mothers. That was so nice that he put his feelings on paper for her and it’s something she will take out again and again over the years and read.
You just gave me chills
morning gang!
hope everyone is having a good day!
It is hot out so becareful if you are outside.
So far, so good this morning. My phone hasn’t rung and I don’t want to jinx that at all.
Flying through. Finally got my editor packed off to lunch so I can see some peace. Now I’ve got to get these two stories written before he gets back so I can say “there, they are on page 1” and be WAAAYYY a head of him. hee hee
Gotta fly.
Molly so sweet of your husband to do that. I lived her response about the re-do of make up. I have a preacher friend that wrote a letter to each on their day of graduation. Very moving and special.
All 20 remembered to show up for our bridge game this afternoon. Mission accomplished!
Well finished my knitting project and posted a picture on Facebook. I think it turned out cute. Mrs.H the button hole wasn’t that hard at all. Thanks.
