It is wonderfully cool and crisp out at 415 this morning-much like a piece of lettuce! (Heh)
I’m taking Thing 2 to meet his boss for the weekly trip to Gulfport. No complaints, especially since they didn’t work last week.

Periodontal surgery first thing this morning. Everything went well. Sutures out next week. Only had three sutures this time. 24 sutures last time.
Been enjoying the cool weather on Bleuz. Hope to ride again late this afternoon. Gotta do a report before that.

Good Tuesday morning, all. Tuesdays are long for the next month. A church member is leading an A.C.T. review class for any kids that are interested. All he asked is that there be another adult present. Since El is here, I figured I might as well be the adult. I have keys to lock up afterwards and all I have to do is be here. Mostly I knit. But it does make for a long day to get to work at 7:30 a.m. and not leave until 8 p.m., knowing that Wednesday is just about the same. However, Thursday being Mr. H’s birthday, I am taking off with him. We are, I think, headed to Pensacola to look at a Porsche Boxter.
I’m awake and wheeeeeeeeeezin’.

Hello Everyone!! Good News tonight. Mom is scheduled to get out of the hospital tomorrow. She is doing amazing. Walking up and down the halls, went up and down stairs (in PT) today, getting to and from the restroom on her own. Just a 180 turnaround from even last Thursday. I am in Birmingham to bring her home. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

I went to sleep for a large part of the day (thanks to the rain) and finally getting back to bed at 1230. Everyone was all over FB earlier about The Book of Manning on ESPN. I caught it on west coast time. A great story-especially the Cooper story, which made me cry like a baby. Archie’s alright.
Mr. Fab hurt his back quite seriously last week. He had a CT today to see if they could tell just how bad this might be. We still haven’t heard results, and our world (which has already been flipped once of twice in the last couple of years may just be turned upside down. Our family really needs prayers right now. Please and thank you.

I have Bingo with my men tonight at the VA. This is always fun. But sad when I started doing this nearly 16 years ago I had right at 75 to 100 Veterans, today I am doing good to have 20. Either they have passed on or now to sick to come. I have watched and learned lots from some great men and women over these years.

Was totally engrossed in finishing up my taxes yesterday and didn’t get on the internet very much.
Mouth is healing well. Started eating some solid food this morning. But, bent over to pick up something and the back went out. Wearing my lumbar support for the time being. Will put ice on it later. This ain’t my first time to this rodeo.
Plan to be much better tomorrow. Hopefully back to normal.

I have good news to report. I found a fresh snake skin on my desk in the living room last night … the bad news is my pet snake is still partying somewhere outside of his cage.
Cardinal son is enjoying his stint at the local schools here. All the kids, even those in high school, think his hat is cool.
