Morning gang! Hope everyone has a great day and week.

  2. Airwolf says:

Morning folks! It’s drizzling rain on my hill!

  3. Molly says:

Mornin. Pretty blue skies here. Rained a bit yesterday, though.

  4. parrotmom says:

    Morning everyone!

  5. Mrs. H says:

I love it when some lady (probably younger than myself) calls me “baby girl” on the phone. :)

    • Molly says:

There is a lady – 15 years my junior – that I talk to on work-related issues fairly often who always calls me “baby.” Of course, her boss kissed me the first time we met (yuck!), so I guess it is just the way that office works.

  6. blues4you says:

    Good afternoon.

My sincerest apologies to coop and parrotmom for missing out on birthday wishes last week. I wasn’t paying attention like I should. I wish nothing but the best for the both of you so please forgive me.

  7. cardinallady says:

Morning. misty skies again this morning. Halleljuah! we need the rain. I don’t know if it’s an omen or not but my dear cardinalson brought me home some black rubber boots this past weekend.

It has been a BUSY BUSY last three weeks. But not a day goes by that I don’t remember you my dear friends. Thank you for your love. I love all of you.

Now I’ve got to get my egg and cheese buscuit and coffee down so I can get to work. Still have PAGES to put out. Gonna turn my do not disturb button on and shoot the first person that come in my territory.

  8. parrotmom says:

    Good Tuesday morning.

Blues you are forgiven and thanks for the wishes. Hope you are doing well and hanging in there.

I didn’t see rain yesterday, but heard there was some somewhere.

Prayers and hugs to you all. Make it a great day!!

  9. Old Bopper says:

Mawnin’ y’all. Headed to get my sutures out from dental surgery. Then to check on sites I’ve selected for my bike club’s Poker Run for Special Olympics. It’s going to be on Saturday, rain or shine. Here’s hoping for a dry morning.

Marshall, love your cartoon for today. Smiles and hugs y’all!

  10. msblondie says:

Morning gang! I wish we would get the rain here so my head would calm down some. These fronts just want to send me to bed but I manage to fight through most of them.

I do have to say WHO DAT!!! What a game last night.

    Everyone have a great day!

  11. dwb810 says:

Hello Everyone! Just checking in briefly. Mom is doing great. Home Health is coming out to check on her, neighbors coming by and the staff at Greenbriar has been spectacular. I feel better knowing she has people close by who love her.

  12. parrotmom says:

Thats great to hear DWB. I hope you are doing well also.

  13. parrotmom says:

Happy Wednesday. Make it a fantastic day.

  14. Molly says:

Mornin. I wasn’t expecting to wake up to rain this morning. Looks like it might be moving on out now.
Coworker is having a baby today. She’s been out 2 weeks already. So I’ve had the place pretty much to myself. Boss’ father died last week so he was out a lot. It’s been REALLY quiet around here.

  15. msblondie says:

    morning gang! already been busy..

    everyone have a great day!

  16. cardinallady says:

Afternoon! Did y’all see the camel come through and ask what day it was? LOL! It’s the other side of hump day at that!!!

Slowed down a bit today will be away for the next two days for some much needed R and R at my sister’s house with her chilluns. We are going to make depression era Christmas decorations after we get back from tia quan do and piano practice. :)

  17. Clucky says:

I’ve lost track of days. Wednesday already? Wow.

Mr. Fab injured his back in grand style. His doc is sending him straight to a neurosurgeon. He’s got 2 ruptured disks that are causing some pretty impressive complications. Driving is a no-no when you can’t feel your right foot.

Good grief. I’m waiting for the meteor to come through my house any minute.

    Love y’all!

  18. msblondie says:

    Happy Thursday morning gang!

everyone be good! Or is that good at it :)

  19. parrotmom says:

    Afternoon everyone.

Prayers for you, Clucky and Mr Fab

  20. Molly says:

Sorry to hear about Mr. Fab’s back problems. I know a lot about that — and it’s no fun! Other than when a spinal steroid injection went wrong, I never lost feeling in my foot, but it still tingles a lot. I am well aware of where my sciatic nerve runs down my left leg. Sure wish I could have a sciatic-ectomy. Still, I am worlds better after my back surgery than I was before it. I hope Mr. Fab’s surgeon is as good as mine. Tell him I’m thinking about him.

  21. msblondie says:

    HAPPY FRIDAY!!

    everyone have a great day!

I think Gorrilla Glue is worse than Super Glue when you get it on your hands. The Actone nail polish remover barely touch it in removing it.. so i got “scale” hands today :(

  22. parrotmom says:

Morning all you MRBAers. Hope your day is as beautiful as you are.

  23. Airwolf says:

Hey folks! I mowed at the farm today. I got into a yellow jacket nest and lost that battle. I now have an ear that looks like a boxers and a swollen knee. It hurts, mean little buggers!

Hope all have had a good day!

  24. parrotmom says:

So sorry AW. Hope you are doing well today.

It’s Saturday morning. Humidity with the breeze. Enjoy your day.

Congrats to PNC on her future mother in law status.

  25. CornPop says:

Thoughts and prayers to Clucky, Mr Fab, AW, and to all in need!

I want to let everyone know what an amazing, incredible, strong man I have as my husband, Orville! He had the alarm set for before 6am this Saturday morning so he could go with our 11-year-old grandson on his Boy Scout hike today – rain or shine. He was decked out and packed up in the Scout gear he used with our son while he was in the Scouts (and made it to Eagle Scout, I need to brag about). The most amazing thing is that at this time last year he was getting ready for the bone marrow transplant, fought through hell for months on end, and came out triumphant with no signs of cancer as of last week!!! His ‘birthday’ is coming up on October 25th (the day of his transplant) and you can count on a huge celebration while giving thanks to God! I need to thank everyone, again, for all of the prayers because without them we couldn’t have made it through everything. Praise Be To God! Love and hugs to everyone!

  26. Clucky says:

I’m attending the Arrow Invitational as we…well, speak. As soon as our kids finish, I’ve got to scoot to St. D for an appt with Dr. Fred.

  27. parrotmom says:

Good Sunday morning to you all. It doesn’t look like I will make it to church.

I had a great time at the Casting Crowns concert at the Coliseum last night. I walked the midway that brought back so many memories of all my years of attending since I was knee high to a grasshopper. PD and I didn’t go every year but here and there. Just a new mile stone in this thing they call life.

Make it a great day—even with the rain. The weather will be cooler once it moves out and will have Fall for a few days.

  28. Clucky says:

Neuro appt yesterday was good. Our kids placed 8 out of 12 bands. No complaints.

It rained buckets last night and this morning. I slept do good. Playing catchup from back to back trips to Jackson.

    XOXO
