Good morning. Drove in from Oxford this morning and managed to get my boys to school. How is your day?

FIRST! HAH! :)
Marshall, you amaze me: you can go everywhere, do everything, and still be as involved with your kiddos as you are. I work full-time, we homeschool, and I still wish I could spend more time with mine.
I wonder when the time stamps are going to be fixed. Doesn’t really matter, I guess. We all know what time we post.
morning gang!
after the talk of donuts yesterday.. had to stop and get one for breakfast this morning.
Everyone try to stay dry today! Have a great one!
I’m getting one Friday. That’s payday for me. Can’t afford a donut til then. Isn’t that sad? Gas is so expensive these days!
Morning folks. Wet, chilly and foggy gere this morning. I’ve got a dental checkup this afternoon. Waiting for the repairman to come work on this new Whirlpool dishwasher. Piece of junk compared to my old Kitchenaide.
9:39 am
AnnO, I didn’t know y’all were homeschooling. I remember the kiddos were in the band with the nieces and didn’t realize y’all weren’t there anymore, being that I’m not at that particular school yet. I admire you; I could not do that.
We had to: there’s a long story behind it that I won’t get into here. But they’re both doing well: they may go back next year if we can reach some kind of agreement.
Gotcha. Glad they’re doing well!
morning to you all again. Coop I enjoyed you telling me what to expect from Itty’s toy. The mouse I think was almost dead he would move but was really slow. At one time the mouse went off the step and Itty had to go under the gate into the rain to retrieve it.
I do so wish TJ is ok and will return.
Oh yes I saw Itty’s other sister yesterday. the mother had kicked it out of the litter, apparently the runt. The neighbors took her in and started force feeding her until she got the hang of it. They are identical and both look exactly like the momma. I do think Itty is a little bigger than the indoor one.
Glad no one was washed away last night or this morning.
Marshall you do a great job with everything you are involved with to be there for your boys, wife, and Banjo. I hope he had a good night withall the thunder.
I cannot believe nobody has said anything about a picnic this year. Of course, softball will probably keep me from it anyway, but I enjoy listening to the stories. Just in case you’re keeping score, we’ve played two tournaments this year–4th place and 1st place. Woo hoo! We’ll be playing locally in June.
GG, I was just thinking about that this morning! We need to start the discussion!
PICNIC TIME!!!
Picnic sounds great. We need to see when MR is available?
mac n cheese for lunch today.
Hope you all have fun with the picnic! Unfortunately, I can already say we won’t make it: we can’t be goone too long and too far because we have no one to take care of IG’s mom. :(
I had to retype the word unfortunately three times, and still missed gone. Gee whiz willikers.
I need a nap. Yaaawwwwnnnnnn.
Took off early. Drove an hour and half from our home. Wanted to watch my son play his senior year of baseball. Saw my son be a pinch runner. Was so disappointed and teed off. Do yall realize how hard it is to move into a new area and your kids get the respect that deserve and have worked for. I hate sports politics.
It’s hard for kids to get the respect they deserve in their old area, too. I moved around a bit as a kid, so I feel your pain, JB.
That sucks, jb.
Ann, thanks for the comic…LOL!!
Eben and Snooch is my favorite webcomic. MR is my favorite editorial cartoonist, with Joel Pett of the Lexington (KY) Herald-Leader a close second. :D
I had been thinking about the picnic, too. As I recall, we all agreed to have it earlier than last year. It was just too dang hot!
Just heard that a friend of the family, an 83 year old man, was found drowned in the pond outside his retirement home today. Sad! He had become a cantankerous old man, since his mind started going, but he was funny and always joking before that. I always enjoyed talking to him.
Swooping in. Has been a long day on the road for me. Two schools and a town to do stories on. Was back in the office by 2:30 or so but they were updating my computer and I thought I had to go away and let if finish, so I left it alone and went back home and spent time with CardinalSon watching Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Got a call from a fella that does welding who asked if Jon could come work for him tomorrow. The boy is estatic! He dropped me off at work and went to buy him some new welding gloves and some coveralls. It’s still COLD here.
Hey is everybody okay down there? I just saw on my NEMS360 site where yall had hail and wind.
Evenin!
All is well here. Saw some of the damage in CS. Tornados are scary.
Watching AI
Molly, I’m so sorry about your friend.
Molly so sorry about your friend. I read the story on CL before leaving work, how sad :(
Coop no head or other at the door not sure who’s door step that showed up on?
PD’s cousin back again to pull wall paper out of other bathroom and paint. He found termites in one corner of the shower where the wallpaper was coming down. Now I am worried for sure. they wasn’t there in 2008 when we had the ceramic tile redone, unless that guy wasn’t telling the truth.
CLady so glad that CSon is beside himself. Welding is a very good profession to go into, as long as licensed and bonded.
Coop, I am assuming you are watching AI with your mom on the phone congrats to you!!!
Yes, watching AI with Mom. No, TJ hasn’t come home and I’m sick about it. Trying to stay positive.
Went to the dentist yesterday to have one tooth fixed and got an appt to have another one fixed in a couple of weeks. I bit into a whopper today (the candy, not the burger) and more of the tooth broke off. I’ve lost about a third of it now :( Keep going like this and I’ll be getting a crown, and not the flashy kind :(
Going to bed early to make up for last night’s late adventure and this morning’s early rising. Mr Fab is sick, so I don’t think we will be going to the in-laws anytime soon.
cluck bess wishes!!
Nite, all. Sleep well!
