    Mornin!

Woke up early then went back to sleep and slept in.

About to prune my Big Sis’s nandina, then head to CS to play in the yard with BFF G.

Good almost afternoon at 11:24 am. I was up at nine but was watching the end of a western. Now to work on video some more. For some reason Tinker Bell has decided not to use the litter box and rent back to the rug in front or the fire place. Not good. I will need to get my hands on her tonight and place her back in the litter box.

I am starving I think KFC for today. I have coupon for some type sandwich with a free drink and side. First the parrot was not able to have a shower last Sunday due to the painting of the hall. So I know he will be thrilled.

  8. Mrs. H says:

Last Sunday, Dr. T challenged us to be a blessing to 3 people: 1 from inside our church family, 1 from the community, and 1 who didn’t deserve it (either by “not deserving it” or by just other folks thinking they don’t really need anything). This morning we got to hear some stories. What a great morning!

  9. Ann Onimous says:

Howdy! Today is our church’s annual Caring for Clinton day. We’re getting ready to head over to Trinity to ring handbells for the residents there. Both the adult and children’s bell choirs will be performing, which is incredible for us, because all four of us get to play together. I love being able to pass on my handbell addiction to the rest of the family. :)

  10. blues4you says:

Sorry I’m late. Happy Anniversary OB &PQ!!

  11. parrotmom says:

made my errands now back at home. Very busy.

  12. Legal Eagle says:

The chef called and he’s cooking pepper steak and wants us to come help him eat it. I will definately be there. Our enchilada throw down that we concluded last Sunday ended in a tie. Since I cooked chicken enchiladas with flour tortillas the Sunday before and he cooked beef enchiladas with corn tortillas last Sunday, we declared that we were each champions in our respective divisions of the enchilada throw down.

If any of you have been to Facebook, you can see what a productive day I’ve had so far. I found out last night that my youngest son. who became my youngest son after my youngest son passed away 3 years ago, got taken to rehab yesterday. Please keep us in your prayers. I made the mistake of adding Elton John’s “Daniel My Brother” to my youtube favorites and sobbed the whole time it played. Daniel was my son who passed away.

I need a drink and here’s a twenty and bring my change in dimes. There’s a song on the jukebox I want to here a thousand times…………

  13. parrotmom says:

Prayers for you LeagleE. I hope the rehab helps your son. I did notice all the tunes you added.

  14. Crystalbutterfly says:

    hey everyone!!
hope that you all had a great week-end I did I spend the week-end with my sweet, precious angel.

  15. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

    Leagle, prayers for you, dear.

  16. parrotmom says:

Trying to watch the ACM’s, transfer a tape to DVD and working on editing a wedding.

Plus for some reason Tinker Bell decided to stop using the litter box so when I let them in a little bit ago. I picked her up and set her back in the box and wiggiled her feet around in it.

  17. parrotmom says:

Dang just remembered my clothes in the dryer.

I was up until 5 this morning-I have been off caffeine since the kidney stone, and yesterday I got so hot I started drinking Mountain Dew. I was wired for sound! We watched 2012, then Mr Fab crashed and I watched another movie. I finally MADE myself turn off the TV and go to sleep. I woke up at noon. OOPS. Jumped out of bed, got a shower, Mr Fab got his shower and we got to Associational drills the same time the kids did. Chicklette is going to State! We are going to Clinton on Saturday, so maybe I can see AnnO! We usually go to Meridian on Friday afternoon for State, but the moms decided they wanted to go to Clinton so everyone could go shopping afterward. /joy Mr. Fab will be going south Thursday evening and returning Saturday evening, so the girl and I will have a little “us” time. Thing 1 and his gf are going to her prom Saturday evening, so I guess I will let him use my car again this year. *sigh* At least I will get a good car wash and detail job out of the deal!

I never did try out the new steam cleaner. We did get it assembled this evening, but the wonderful weather forbade me to come back inside :)

The ailing kitty has done great, and is LOVING being an inside kitty. I bet he will sleep with the girl tonight. The new kittens have their eyes open, except for the runt of one litter. They are so dang CUTE!!! We are actually “thinning the herd”, and have found homes for most of the ones we can stand to part with. We will save a fortune on cat food. LOL We switched cat litter tonight. We have used Tidy Cat multi-cat forever, but a friend was ecstatic over the new Fresh Step “Extreme.” It certainly smells better!

Good grief, I am talking about CAT LITTER. /pitiful

Y’all have a good night. PM, I still haven’t finished editing the wedding pics I took in February. I have an angry bride, so I am about to go work on that before she strings me up by my toenails! Chicklette is in here with me practicing her piece for solo and ensemble contest later this month. She sounds so good :D

    • Barb says:

I use Tidy Cat also. I’ll have to try the new Fresh Step. I used the original one when I first got CeCe 3 years ago. Her b’day is tax day!!

    • parrotmom says:

Congrats to chicklette!!! Glad she is coming to Clinton this coming Saturday. I was thinking of working, but maybe I can catch up with you guys. Keep in touch with times and lunch, supper, maybe we can get together?

    • Ann Onimous says:

      We’ll not only be there, but I’m judging… :D

  19. CluCky says:

Leagle, I missed the news about your son. I am so sorry, but maybe he will get the help he needs. I understand about the song-it’s a wonderful song, and Elton John’s voice is fantastic. I have learned lately that crying over a lost loved one is not a bad thing-we HAVE to grieve, and you never know when a song will kick you in the gut and bring you to your knees. I heard Tammy Wynette singing “Til I Can Make It On My Own” the other day, and had to pull off the road and bawl. Mom always loved that song, and the words are so touching. It was almost like I could feel Mom with me. (((Leagle)))

    • parrotmom says:

I know the songs that come to me in my darkest times right now it is country music. Lady Antebellum with “Hello World” and Ronnie Dunn’s “Bleed Red”. We have all done and said something in the heat of a moment. Let’s just love each other and get on with life!!! I also like Miranda Lambert’s, “The House That built Me!” I need to go back to a place in time when I knew where I was headed.

  20. Barb says:

Leagle, you and yours have my prayers.

    Everyone have a good night.

  21. parrotmom says:

Nite to you Barb and to the rest of the MRBAERS’ Sweet dreams and hope we all have a great week. So enjoying the ACM awards. Trying to get PD to put the real tv on for the last 45 minutes since I need to be up front.

  22. OldBopper says:

Evening folks. We had to turn on the A/C this evening and now I think we have it too cold.

Prayers for you and your son Legal.

  23. Legal Eagle says:

We’re back. Thank all of you for your prayers, hugs and love! I’ve had an adult beverage or two and smoked like a smoke stack and ate so much pepper steak, rice, carrots and french bread that I’m full as a tick.

Y’all do realize that it’s time to start planning for the 4th Annual MRBA Picnic, Frog Jumping, Goat Roping and Wedding, don’t you? Do y’all want to go back to Roosevelt State Park or should I check into Mayes Lake which is right off Lakeland in Jackson. They have everything Roosevelt has but a pool. Do you think we should have it a little earlier this year because of the heat, or what? I need your input my people.

And are any of you going to be at Run From the Sun next Saturday? Marshall said he could fit me in somewhere and I am so glad. I am so looking forward to the Run From the Sun and the music of Fingers Taylor and my examination by that foxy plastic surgeon. Those of you have been there in the past know exactly what I’m talking about. If not, do to my pictures on my CL blog and check out the pictures from last year.

  24. Legal Eagle says:

    go to, not do to.

  25. parrotmom says:

nite lite is on!!!! nite to you all.

  26. Mrs. H says:

    Good Morning, people.
Hope you had a good sleep last night, Leagle. Hugs to you, dear.
Mr. H is heading to Peru on Friday, so I won’t be able to make it to the Run this year, either.

  27. parrotmom says:

Good Monday Morning at 6:02 am . I wonder what the day will bring?

  28. Mrs. H says:

It brings a return to reality for George County. We’ve been on spring break for a week and it was a great one! I think my girls will never forget it.
