Good morning just trying to figure out what time to go to a bird show? The weather sure is nice outside.

Small crowd at early church. This is parish weekend at Camp Bratton Green. Most folks went up Friday afternoon, had a big crawfish boil last evening, and church outdoors this morning followed by a pot luck dinner.

Rode Boule to church using the interstate (about 25 miles). Then left, rode across the reservoir up to Dogwood Market and had breakfast at Corner Bakery. Left there took a circular route to Brandon, then down by Whitfield, the Fire Academy, into Pearl and back home using Hwy 80. Noticed the fuel light blink on one incline, so when I got home I filled him up. I carefully measured the gas I put in and computed 59.6 mpg. I had filled up at home the last time so I could measure what I was putting in since the fuel light was burning steadily at that time.

The fuel light never came on steady this time. So I figure I have a bit over a gallon left when it does glow steadily. To be on the safe side, I’ll figure a gallon and an easy 25-30 miles before I get nervous.

Ordered some Viking “Dynamite” Saddle Bags last night and a plain black leather fender bib for the rear. No fancy stuff on my leather, just plain black. Well, the saddle bags have two silver buckles, but that’s it.

Flitting through from church. I had Sunday School and nursery today. We had our baccalaurate services. It is good that I didn’t have to go on there this time, I’d have squalled I’m sure. I can’t believe Jon has been out of school a year. Shoot, I can’t believe I’ve been out of school 32 years.

    what a beautiful day.
prayers for those in the flood zone. I can’t imagine.

    Good to see you tank!

We’ve been piddling around straightening up Big Sis’ craft room/office, and generally being lazy. I just put a roast on to cook. Should be smelling good soon.

We went to the trade mart building no bird show as the Ms State Fair commission had assured me that there was one. PD and I rent to Renisounce (sp) for first time to the apple store to have his iPhone checked out it was dropping calls like crazy. They suggested it was the Sim card so then we went to AT&T up on county line and received a new one. Then to Petsmart for the Parrots treats.

PM, I think I’d be complaining to someone about the bad info on the bird show.

I was sitting here reading updates on the flooding when I saw a fox in the back yard. A little nature diversion from the depressing news. I got a few pics. Hope the turn out.

I have been trying to use the laptop today. I have very iffy service with it. When I look up my wi-fi it shows secured, but then in the bottom right hand corner it will have me at unsecured—HUH!!! then as I try to move about I have connectivity and then I don’t. Go figure. Give me a desktop anytime :)

Coop can the barges and tugs still fit under the MS Bridge at Vicksburg?
