Even though I don’t have to take girls to school this morning, I won’t be riding Fizzer. There’s no place to strap the loveseat that the Eldest brought back from Starkvegas. It’s got to go back in my office at church, so I’m driving the truck today.
“Fizzer”…love it! I think that love seat would look cute strapped on the bike.
Mawnin’ y’all. Crazy day yesterday. Rode Boule to men’s breakfast which was before early church. Got ready to leave after church and no start. Decided it must be battery, so bought a battery and a trickle charger and commenced to wait until trickle charger put a charge on it. About three pm, decided it must be something else. Long story short, the youngest called an old friend who works on motorcycles. He came, turned on the key, pulled the clutch, and vroom! Said, “Suzuki’s require pulling on the clutch to start”. (I know that.) Then it dawned on me…..I changed out the clutch handle Saturday. Must not have had the tension correctly adjusted. Got home, read up on it, and yessir, that be the problem. Starts first time everytime now. Makes one feel rather dumb.
I do appreciate the young man taking the time to come to my rescue. It was very nice of him.
Life is a continual learning experience.
My heart and prayers go out for the folks in Joplin, MO. The devastation is horrible just like Tuscaloosa, AL and North East, MS.

Good morning hope that every one has a great Monday :)
Happy Monday morning everyone! We need to be ever thankful that we woke up this morning and with a roof over our heads and coffee to drink and furry kids to love us and I’m thankful for BE, who left at 5:30 a.m. to go fishing and did not wake me up before he left. Last Friday I instructed him to wake me up so I could get to the prayer breakfast, but today I had nowhere to go. My eye appointment is at 7:40 a.m. tomorrow and I will have to drag myself out early for that.
I’m thinking about the folks in Joplin and elsewhere who are in such desperate straights right now.
On a lighter note, Clucky, I certainly did see Jimmy Olander. I couldn’t miss him. I just had to look at the pages of last week’s CL weekend magazine that I had saved to see what his name is.

Just finished adjusting rear brake on Casper. That little bugger will stop on a dime and give you change. Found somebody who can adjust the carb and set the idle on it. Then a little clean up and Casper will be ready to entertain somebody else. I think my future SIL is very, very interested in it to replace the scooter he now has. BTW, just put gas in Casper and got 78 mpg.
Afternoon. Been busy putting my paper to bed. Be back when I can get the covers smoothed down a little more. Prayer for all my dear friends. Three weeks until the picnic!!!!!! :) :) :) I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!!!!!!
Oh well, I’m trying to hurry life right along. That’s what happens when you are as young as I am. Three weeks and five days.

I’ve been invited to the Monday night bridge game and hadn’t eaten lunch yet and didn’t want to cook before I left, so I had something that I have never had in my life. I was starving, so I toasted 2 pieces of bread, fried an egg and slapped it between the bread slices and it was so good, I had to fix me another one. I can’t believe I’ve been missing that low these many years.
LE – Fried Egg sandwiches are good.. so are scrambled egg sandwiches.
Fried egg, two pieces of white bread, mayo, lettuce, salt, pepper……mmmmm good.
I will have to google lady gaga to see what those shoes LE will be wearing if they arrive in time. LOL!!!
in from work, supper done, ate, and kitchen cleaned up all in about an hour and half. Love easy quick meals,especially now that it has gotten warm.
hope everyone has a good evening.. i got about 6 loads of laundry to sort and fold.. C washed and dried it all for me.
Evening, it’s been a warm one. I’m finally putting the finishing touches on my garage a little at a time. I don’t like to work full days anymore.

OB, we may need to have you checked out. That’s how we discovered Daddy was getting Alzheimers, he couldn’t start his little truck. I drove 18 miles to show him he had to push the clutch in!!

Watching DWTS. Home tonight doing some laundry and having kittiekid time. Ringo is absent, which means he’s really pissed I’ve been gone so much. He’ll get over it…
PD used to do a fish fillet sandwich like McDonald’s and put a fried egg on it. It really was pretty good.
Coop so sorry Ringo has an attitude tonight :( hopefully he will show back up soon.
I just heard my keys hit the floor in the kitchen. I’d better go find them before they disappear.

I’ve been tidying up and watching for Ringo. Still a no show. I’m hoping to wake up in the morning with him on top of me…assuming he doesn’t show up before I go to sleep.
I Hope Ringo shows up. Itty bitty has been going out at night and not returning to around 6:00 am.
