I just got back from our memoorial day services on the court square. They read the names of the 123 people who gave their lives in conflict from World War I til the Iraq war. Awesome. My cousin Jon Self’s name was the last one read.

Coop, your birthday is a day before Mr. H’s and your wedding day was the day before ours but a year later. I think we’re sisters at heart.
I have ice cream stuff in the refrigerator waiting to go into the little freezer a little later this afternoon. Mr. H had to work today, but all the rest of the family was off. The eldest went to Diamond Head to see her “friend” and help him go car shopping.
