  5. parrotmom says:

Well Coop it wasn’t an age thing then for your arm hurting.

Happy Birthday to LegalEagle. I loved Blues on yesterdays FFA calling for AnnO how perfect was that.

Prednisone let me sleep from 10p-3a, then 630a-noon. Oops! In betweeen I tried to help out Mr Fab and watered all the flowers early this morning. I went back to bed to grab another hour of sleep and woke up at noon wheezing my head off. €£¥%!!! ALLERGIES.
Happy Father’s Day, whether to 2, 3 or 4 legged babies. My “father” was my mom’s first husband and donated his half of the DNA. My Daddy was my stepdad, and died 19 years ago. I miss him.

  7. Mrs. H says:

Well, Clucky, I’m glad you got his good half in the donation!!

My eldest made it home from her world travels today. She says Michigan is like Mississippi, only cooler! For today, all the H’s are together. Tomorrow, 3 of us head to Ft. Walton Beach for SuperWow. (I just heard the washing machine beep… got to go take care of it.)

Afternoon, early church followed by breakfast then to Grenada to meet oldest daughter and pick up grandsons. They’re staying the week with us.

    Happy Birthday Legal!!

MrsH, Michigan was one of the 14 states I used to lobby in. I always said it was just Mississippi with a weather attitude. I even found a motel in Lansing that served grits with breakfast.

Lot’s of hunting, fishing and pick up trucks up there. You usually don’t see many pick ups in the snow country. But Michigan is an exception. BTW, they grow some of the finest bing cherries you ever tasted and make a wonderful maple syrup.

  9. parrotmom says:

That must be why my parents almost lived in Michigan for almost 5 yrs. They moved there right after marriage in January 1955 and moved back to Mississippi about October 1959 after I was born.

  10. Legal Eagle says:

Thank you for all the birthday greetings! I’m being totally lazy today.

When I flew into Detroit, it seems like we flew over the city for an hour before we landed. I’ve never seen so many subdivisions and neighborhoods.

I feel like I may need a Rally’s bacon double cheeseburger and chocolate malt to help me celebrate. I thought I was going to explode yesterday I was so full and now I wish I could start down that table again.

    Evenin!

Just made it home from a great weekend. MRBA pick-a-nick yesterday. Surprised my Dad by showing up last night. Morning with parents and lil sis, afternoon holding sweet Poppy…good times!

There’s a good article in the Memphis Commercial Appeal about TV weather forecasting. The article is good, but the comments are rather surprising. I would have figured it the other way around.

  13. Legal Eagle says:

I had my Rally burger and giant chocolate milk shake. I should have put some malted milk mix in it when I got it home, but didn’t take the time. The double Rally bacon cheeseburgers are two for $4.00 and come with lettuce, tomato and pickle, 2 beef patties, 2 strips of bacon and cheese. They’re better than Wendy’s, McDonald’s or Burger King and you can’t beat the price. The fries are another story. They’re about $2.50 for a small order, so we usually don’t even worry about them.

  14. parrotmom says:

legale I have been hungry for a good burger. Sonic, BK, McD’s, Wendy’s is starting to taste all the same. I had Arbys the last two days even Krystals don’t hit the spot.

  15. parrotmom says:

Wendys new sea salt fries imho are not that great either.

I am going to say nite lite is on! Not sure I will check back in tonight.

OB and PQ have fun with those grand boys this week.

  16. Barb says:

Meant to say this earlier…Happy Birthday, Legal!!!

  17. dhcoop says:

I just heard that one of the main men in my life has died.

    Oh my. This is tough.

    He was a hellava man
    .

  18. Clucky says:

    (((Hugs)))

Awake for an hour…it’s now ten after four a.m.

Thing 1 and his gf of 17 months broke up tonight. My heart hurts for both of them. It may change…kids these days. Very sad; she is a sweet girl with a good head on her shoulders, and she does love that blue-eyed boy of mine.
