A sign?

I drove several hundred miles yesterday in the Mississippi Delta. I saw corn.  A lot of corn. I saw soybeans, rice, a few catfish ponds (many were drained) and some cotton.  I even saw the new Highway 82 Bridge in Greenville.  What I didn’t see were many campaign signs.  I saw only four for statewide offices: Dave Dennis, Phil Bryant, Lynn Fitch and one for Tate Reeves. That was it.

Kind of shocking considering the primaries are just a few weeks away.

and we have discussed the over abundance of political signs in our area. when you hit the 84 bypass this afternoon just look at the intersection of 84/51. unreal. I keep saying I’m gonna take a picture of that. there’s no way a driver could safely look at all those signs. and these are the larger signs. honestly, a political sign does not convince me to vote or not vote for a person.

Sounds like they don’t put much stock in Delta votes.

I second what both of you said. Meridian is wrapped UP in signs, as is the counties and my little town.
