Good morning! Off to church in a while. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Morning! Off to work in a couple of hours. Enjoy the day everyone. Prayers continue for those in need.
Good morning to everyone may you all have a blessed day!!!
I can tell I have ot done any manual labor in a while, my arms are very sore!!!!
Mornin!
Watching Andrew Zimmerman Bizarre Foods. He was at Leatha’s with Robert St. John having possum and coon. He just had chittlins in some guys back yard.
Possum & chittlins’? That’s just nasty.
Leatha’s is awful BBQ. She pressure cooks it before putting it on the grill. That’s why it falls off the bone.
He acted like he loved it. I have my doubts…
Zimmern, not Zimmerman
I saw that too! I’d never seen an episode, and probably would have skipped that one if it hadn’t been here. I adore chicken livers, but he lost me on just about everything else.
Went to Church and followed with breakfast at Denny’s. Home and planning to go to the baseball game this afternoon.
Coop, not something I want to ever try.
I needed to go in to work today, but time is getting away from me. Probably not worth it now. It means I will definitely be there next weekend.
OB enjoy the game I hope they can make it 3 wins in a row.
Raining all day! JB, what did you do to my vacation?
LOL!!!! it sounds like he prayed for rain for the wrong area :)
I ran some errands and wound up at El Sombrero—imagine that. I had the best chicken/cheese quesadilia with sour cream and gracoumali (sp) in some time. I really like that server and prefer him when I go there. I am so stuffed.
We’ve never been to El Sombrero. I take it that you recommend the place? :)
I like it and I know several others that do.
I feel extremely hung over, but had nothing to drink. Worked all day yesterday painting, then up all night reading “The Help.” At 530 this morning, I put it down and slept for 6 hours. I need a nap.
The Girl starts high school band tomorrow! Band camp 730-130 for the next week. They went to Alabama Adventures yesterday and she rode the freefall several times. This morning, she said she could barely walk. She is gonna have a hard time tomorrow.
I’m so afraid of when my two start band camp. I worry about medical facilities, whether she’ll be able to keep insulin cool enough, what kind of staff they have…
I hope it works out for her AnnO!!
Just finished watching the move “Secretariat” what an awesome story of an awesome horse and never giving up.
The ball game was rained out. Actually it was just a big downpour for about fifteen minutes but they couldn’t get the tarp on the field in time to keep it playable. It will resume at 5 pm tomorrow.
Trying to get myself ready for my big day Wednesday. Camera down the throat and up the… well, it should be really…well, let’s just leave it at that.
I just may be a little quiet for a few days… y’all take care and behave as best you can.
Sorry for the rain out maybe tomorrow will be better. I heard the women’s lost the soccer game against Japan. I sure was hoping they would have won.
We watched the remake of “True Grit” I prefer the John Wayne version, but for $10.00 was an ok movie.
Coop good luck with the testing. I have never had the down the throat deal but the other I only remember the preparation the day before but nothing afterwards. I will keep you in my prayers.
Good luck, Coop. Let us know.
AnnO, sorry about the rain.
PM, I will probably never watch True Grit even though I absolutely love Jeff Bridges. It is not the same as “the Duke”!! But, I do want to see Secretariat.
Tired, going to bed. Sleep well, all.
Nite Barb and everyone else. PD and I have gotten hooked on Grey’s anatomy on Sunday nights. I wished they didn’t have commercials we could go to bed 30 minutes earlier!!
