Good morning to eveyone!!!! Praise the Lord we had a peaceful sleep but why do I still feel so ran over by that mac truck again. I need energy if there is such a thing. I felt bad yeserday because my co=workers were forced to help me out for the end of the month. If they really wanted to help they would have done so without being told. I did have a couple that chipped in on Wedesday which was very nice.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday :)

    Hey Everyone!
No, I haven’t fallen off the planet! Soooooo busy at work and the weekend is full of church stuff. Guess I better get back to it. I just wanted to tell everyone to have a fun “final” weekend of July!

Today is the last day of band camp – water day. I was contacted by the drum major and asked to make Rice Krispy treats, which I did and which are still sitting on the kitchen table even though the girls left half an hour ago. *sigh*

Guess I’m heading to town in a bit…

Mawnin’ y’all. Spent yesterday afternoon helping ready for our church’s annual rummage sale. I dislike rummage sales, but if that’s your thing, this a mighty good one. Huge! Everything is so well organized that it is reasonably easy to look for things.

7 am tomorrow at St. Philips Episcopal Church on Old Canton Road.

I had a thought. If Bill Luckett is partners with Morgan Freeman, wouldn’t you think that if Morgan Freeman thought he was a worthy candidate for governor, we would have seen some kind of endorsement ad by now? Just sayin…

Hi everybody! Flying through about like CardinalSon did yesterday. He called me at 4 and said he was coming home for his money (I cashed a check for him.) He needed it to put gasoline in his truck to get through until his first paycheck comes through a week from today.

He drove down the driveway at 5:07. He came for his money (and though he didn’t ask for any extra money, mama slipped a little extra in because she new he would need it,) his hammer, and something else, I forgot. anyway, I asked if he wanted to stay and go to supper.. “You can relax and spend the night and get up in the morning … what time do you have to go to work?” ‘6:15’ was his reply. “Oh, never mind,” I said, because I was more concerned for his safety. So after a quick hug and I love you he was off again. He drove out of the driveway in the rain at 5:36.

It was ironic. Two years ago yesterday he told me that grandpa died and we cried together in the rain. My tears mingled with the raindrops yesterday as I watched this little bird continue to try his wings and fly from the nest. But in the same instant I realized that the twenty years of tears and love have been worth it, because he is on his way to becoming a responsible man.

    Heard this this morning:
To fall in love you need a pulse.
To stay in love you need a plan.

AAA is moving today to Hendersonville. We got all kinds of guys working around us. Trying to finish my month end too.

  13. Legal Eagle says:

Will you have to drive by June and Johnny Cash’s house on the way to and from work, JB?

  14. parrotmom says:

Blues don’t go to Cajun on us. I loved your comments.
CLady you brought tears to my eyes.

It is now lunch I am at home will fly by Wendy’s or Sonic for either a frosty or a milkshake on the way back. The neurologist has moved PD’s appointment till Wednesday the 3rd, Yay!!!!

Hope everyone has a fantastic lunch and a great weekend.

    Good afternoon, everyone.

Well, the secretary that started here 3 months ago was let go today. Seems she spent 90% of her day on Facebook, texting, personal phone calls and personal emails. Bosses got tired of paying her for doing her personal stuff and she’s outta here. All this came as a complete shock to her. She thought she was doing fantastic work. But, not to worry….we had somebody else wanting the job who has lots of experience in “elder” law and she starts Monday.

  17. cardinallady says:

Alright, I’ve been wanting to share this with yall since this morning and just now have the time to do so.

I was hunting for this black scarf to wear today and I asked God to help me find it because my mess is a place as my sign says. I knocked over my Sunday School box, which made the little box of individual letters fall out. I stopped to pick them up and low and behold the said scarf I was hunting for was in a basket right beside them, I wouldn’t have looked there had the boxes not spilled over. So some days when you pray for something and you feel like you are stumbling over stuff, look around the answer to your prayer just might be near.

  18. OldBopper says:

Afternoon gang! Been at church all day helping to get ready for the giant rummage sale which will be held tomorrow.

Instead of being there for the sale, I’m going to meet my Sister and BIL and ride to Natchez on our motorcycles. Looking forward to it.

  19. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

Extremely busy but productive day today. Now to get my comfy’s on.

  20. parrotmom says:

Trying to make up mind, should I or should I not? That is the question…

  21. dhcoop says:

    Should you what?

Cut my on front yard or pay someone to do it. I can cut the back in 20 minutes, but the front with the triming, weedeating, magnolia leaves, takes hours that I just don’t want to do right now. If he scalps it he’s gone!!

  22. dhcoop says:

I need a bandaid. Can’t find one. My new readers are a little heavy and keep slipping down my nose. I figured if I could put a bandaid on them, it would at least slow them down. I had put some tape on them and it was working, but the big man was coming to the office today so I took it off. May put some more back on. How’s that for an exciting update? It’s Friday night and I’m looking for a bandaid for my readers. heh

  23. parrotmom says:

nite lite is on. I wished there was something worth watching on tv, but I am afraid I have not found it yet. See you folks tomorrow.
