  3. blues4you says:

    Good morning…..o7:22am

  4. parrotmom says:

The time is 7:25 am and time to hit the road. Good morning to all and “that’s all I got to say about that”!
    Happy Monday!!!

  5. Pncpnthr says:

Morning. I plan to vote tomorrow but realized yesterday that I have no idea who these people are that are running. I don’t get local channels so I haven’t seen any of the ads.

    • Legal Eagle says:

Bless your pea picking heart! I wish I didn’t get the local ads and if you got them, you wouldn’t know one more thing about the candidates. None of the ads tell you anything pertinent about the candidate. They are either so “cute” they are nauseating, especially when played over and over, or they are slinging mud at their opponents. None of them tell you anything you would like to know about the candidates themselves.

  6. Legal Eagle says:

OB, if you get in a jam, you know who to call.

I’m going to try to rest and get my Thursday game together today so I can watch the end of the Bachelorette tonight and be at the polls at 6:30 in the morning to gear up for the day. At least we will have the voting machines tomorrow so we won’t be counting paper ballots by hand again.

  7. bella says:

8:13am Good morning. Hope everyone stays cool this week.

  8. msblondie says:

    morning gang! busy day.

hope everyone has a great day!

  9. cardinallady says:

Morning everybody! Decision day 2011 is upon us. the herd will definitely thin out after tomorrow around here. We have 72 LOCAL candidates. Has been a long hot summer for obvious reasons, all that hot air around here.

How is everybod today? I’ve got to go to the supervisors meeting. See y’all birdies later.

  10. Legal Eagle says:

It’s no wonder we’re having a heat wave, Cardinallady. All that hot air is spreading all over the country. It was enough to stop a tropical storm at the border. If the politicians could only accomplish in the legislature what they have accomplished to add to the heat wave, we wouldn’t have to worry.

    • cardinallady says:

You got that right Legal. I’m hoping the tropical system that is kicking up now will bring us some much needed moisture. As long as it waits until late Saturday night to let us get the Bodock Festival in. I won’t cry if it rains from now until then though.

Yesterday my brother and I both said goodbye to our sons as they went in their different grown up directions. It was a hard day.

  11. The Real JB says:

My new office is right next to Blue Moon Barbq. Hungry.

  12. dhcoop says:

I’m hungry too. I brought my leftover porkchop, potatoes and green beans. Heating it up now. YUM!

  13. Mrs. H says:

I just realized that I won’t be able to vote for most of my local offices tomorrow. I think only one of them is on the Republican ballot. I hope my favorites make it through the primaries to the general election. I wish those guys would change their affiliation because I WILL NOT have my name on a list that begins with Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

    • The Real JB says:

      Amen! AMen! Amen!

    • Legal Eagle says:

It irks me to no end that we are still on the archiach system of having to choose one party or the other to vote on. We should be able to vote on the candidates of our choice, not the parties they represent,

  14. parrotmom says:

I think moving for over an hour now to take care of PD and heading back. I may wait to do my drawers tomorrow. That heat will zap what energy you have when you are already worn out and tired.

  15. Airwolf says:

Afternoon folks. I’ve been running around TCB! It’s so dry I decided I needed to water on the west side of the house, I was moving the waterhose and looked down and saw a three feet long snake between my feet. I didn’t know I could move that fast. He slithered off and so did it!!

  16. Molly says:

Hello gang. A lady just called the office all upset because her niece told her that Medicaid would come take away all her jewelry if they applied for Medicaid for her husband. There are so many stories about what Medicaid will do … and most are wrong. I’m glad she called here and got some peace of mind. She was almost in tears at the thought of her personal belongings being confiscated to pay for Medicaid.

    • Legal Eagle says:

I hope she doesn’t express her fears to any politicians and give them any ideas. They have enough stupid ideas of their own, such as drug testing anyone receiving state aid.

  17. Molly says:

Kiddo got back from canoe trip in Arkansas around 10 last night. When I headed back to the office from lunch at 12:45, she was still sound asleep.

  18. msblondie says:

Politicians and snakes are in the same place in my book. Don’t care for either one.

Jason’s Deli for lunch it was good. Today was one those I had to get at lunch cause the fit was hitting the shan and it going to be like this for a couple of weeks. I can’t say what is going on right now.. but when I can I let ya’ll know.

Time to chew some more butt cause techs not doing job.

    Have a good afternoon folks.

  19. Legal Eagle says:

MrsH, was it Woody Assaf that came on with Reddy Killoowatt or Alan Bee? Here is a picture of Reddy Killowatt in a scene from Florida:

  20. The Real JB says:

    Eagle…you sure are chatty.

  21. msblondie says:

So much for Fit hitting the shan in a couple of weeks, it is happening now. This is not going to be pretty.

  22. Legal Eagle says:

Yeah, sabotage is a constant threat, I’m sure.

  23. OldBopper says:

Afternoon! Think we have found our wood flooring. Still searching for the carpet.

Lunch was tilapia at Logan’s Roadhouse.

  24. parrotmom says:

AW so sorry for your drawers today. I might would have had the same problem with mine if I were to have found a snake on my courtyard in all that tall grass.

  25. parrotmom says:

Molly so glad they called to verify that info. Everything is getting more scary than ever to have rumors like that to go running wild.

  26. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

Watching the Closer and looking forward to watching one of my fav shows!

And listening to a chimney full of chimney swifts. I’ll be glad when they fledge. They are LOUD!

  27. msblondie says:

well made it home an hour later than normal. will be busy over the next couple of days getting things sorta out. i work for a kind man and great company… the person that was let go took advantage of him. this person should be glad they are not sitting in jail right now for what they did that got them fired – cause they could be looking at 10 to 15 years.

boss sent us all home and said relax but be prepared to work tomorrow.

    hope everyone has agreat evening.

  28. cardinallady says:

Evening. I just left the political speaking and about to head home and settle down for cookies or something. Tomorrow will be a LOOOOOONNNNNGGG day. Going to go home and watch Rizzoli and Iles and then the Closer. I like TNT for running them twice back to back for those late ‘uns of us. Yall have a great evening and make sure you practice the one right we have that is exclusevly ours in America, the right to boot any snake politician out of office you want with your computerized check mark.

  29. parrotmom says:

    So true CLady.

  30. OldBopper says:

As I have said before, politicians should realize the voters who send them can rescind them.
