Prayers for Barbs friend and the recurrence of her cancer, may God interceed on the healing of this wonderful person.

Coop, Finally last night I found what I was looking for by accident. Manuals are not what they are all they are cracked up to be, but nice to have pictures in them. PD is happy for the moment who knows what he will think today.

  5. blues4you says:

    Happy anniversary pncpanther!

  6. Molly says:

    Mornin. Happy anniversary, Pnc!

The man who was killed on the I20 yesterday was my neighbor. They keep saying he was from Natchez, but he’s lived across the street from me for about a year and a half.

  7. Crystalbutterfly says:

    hey all!!!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MR AND MRS PNCPANTHER!!!!!
Molly sorry to hear about your neighbor
    prayers for Barb’s freinds

  8. dhcoop says:

Molly, I’m so sorry to hear about your neighbor. That’s so tragic.

I am experiencing what I think might be a touch of tinnitis in my left ear. I have a strange ringing sound that’s constant. I’ve heard of it, but never had it. Does anyone know anything about it?

  9. Airwolf says:

Molly I’m sorry about your neighbor.

Coop I’ve had it 20 years or more. Spicy food makes mine worse.

  10. msblondie says:

yawn … morning gang… been at the office since 615 this morning. i hate when power failures and equipment failures happen.

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY PNC!

hope all have a great day!
going to find cold caffine now.

  11. Molly says:

Coop, I’ve had tinnitus for many years. Drives me nuts sometimes.

That was a tragic accident. I didn’t know him. We always waved and spoke if we were both out. We’re good friends with the older couple that lives right next to him and they have always talked about what a good neighbor he was. He was always quick to help them with yard work or anything. Our friends said he has a daughter from a previous marriage who did not live with him. He was married, but I don’t think there are any kids in the house.

  12. Barb says:

    Morning!
    Happy Anniversary, Pnc!!
Thanks for the prayers for V. Please keep her in your prayers.
    Sorry about your neighbor, Molly.

  13. parrotmom says:

Molly so sorry about the neighbor. It is such a shock to hear about a freak accident only to find out they were a neighbor or friend is such a double whammy.

I had my flu shot today, seems a bit early, but cannot complain when it is free.

  14. parrotmom says:

Lunch time again!!!! Run, run, run…. is there anything else to do?

    Happy eats to everyone.

  15. cardinallady says:

Morning, been a busy morning. Had initial appearance in court this morning for guy who called in a bomb threat to a plant here yesterday. You can read about it on our pontotoc360.com site.

I just got that uploaded when a wreck on the highway happened so I splashed out in the rain and took some more pics.

So how is everybody today. Happy anniversary to PNC and hubby.

I’m not sure what I want for lunch. It is going to be a long afternoon. I’ve got to go to the back side of the county and take a picture of a lady with snacks for the cook page, then I will go to the northern part of the county to get a picture of the high school band. :) Then I’m back home again. YAYYYY!!!

  16. Mrs. H says:

JB, how did the walk through on the potential new building go last night?

I’m still puzzled by my inability to get on this site from my laptop at home. It will say that the site is unavailable but can find a cached copy. I think I’ll try to empty the history and see what happens.

    • cardinallady says:

Good question MrsH. I’d like to know too. Pictures would be nice too don’t you think? Speaking of churches and stuff, I surely do need to come worship with y’all one Sunday or Wednesday.

  17. dhcoop says:

Sounds like all heck is about to break loose on downtown Jtown.

  18. OldBopper says:

Congratulations to PNC Panther and Hubby. That’s a fine achievement.

Coop, like AW have had tinnitus for years. I blame it on the firing range. At first it may come and go. What’s wierd is when you lie down to go to sleep. Everything is quiet and you hear the darn ringing in your ears. Like most everything else, you eventually get used to it. Some times mine is louder than other times.

Woke up before the alarm went off this morning. No problem. A suggestion if you are going to DeSoto County. Stop at the welcome center on the highway and get a free roadmap of the county and cities within. If it’s been more than a year since you have been there, you will need the map. My weeds don’t grow as fast as that county.

  19. msblondie says:

The storm that blew through – cause us to loose power at work.. boss decided at 430 we were not going to regain and let us go. I have to be in at 6 in the morning. OH Joy.

    Everyone have a good evening.

  20. Mrs. H says:

Still couldn’t open this on Google Chrome. I did manage to get through on Firefox. How strange!!

C-Lady, come anytime. And that goes for anyone else that is part of the MRBA: lurker or known. If you’re going to come on a Wednesday, though, come on September 28. Our youth pastor will be in Peru and he asked me to speak to the youth that night (we will NOT use the term “preach”: after all, we ARE a baptist church!) I’ve got my message devotion just about worked out. :) I’m working on pictures for the visual portion now.

  21. parrotmom says:

good afternoon. We had a bodacious storm to come through up on 220 this afternoon. Lost power about 2:00 then they finally let us leave around 3:15. So glad to have the extra time at home, but sure hate the amount of work that did not get done today.

  22. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

It was a heck of a storm! We never lost power, but even if we had, it wouldn’t have mattered. We have a super-duper natural gas generator that keeps us up and running.

I’m down in Gtown and glad there is power here. Some limbs down, but no damage. Lots of little debris everywhere. I could tell the wind got strong, though, because a large rug on the front porch was crumpled on the other side of the porch and a cushion was in the yard.

MrsH., I don’t know how you are editing on your posts, but I have seen a couple of times lately where you use a word, then delete it and use another word and it shows up like you are doing a markup in Word. I’ve never seen that before!

  23. parrotmom says:

Coop I had noticed that too and wonder how she was doing that.

    Evening to you.

  24. Barb says:

Yeah, I was wondering about the crossed out words, also.
We had a store meeting today and our manager fed us. We had trays from Subway and a giant cookie. It was also a truck day, so, needless to say, I did not get through with all my freight!! And, we have another truck tomorrow!! I just get behinder and behinder!!! lol

  25. parrotmom says:

Barb, I hope you get finished tomorrow.

    Nite to all :)

  26. clucky says:

I think MrsH is using bold type code, but the one for strike-through, which I CANNOT remember!

I was at the Ag Museum today for a seminar when that storm blew through. Those rustic buildings are not insulated for sound, and the speaker was almost shouting to be heard over the wind, rain and thunder. We took a break until it let up, then resumed. Everyone was freaking out; I was just wishing I had my camera! I got some neat information, but some of the material was obviously for the case managers and adjusters. There was an engineer that was discussing slips and falls, and SERIOUSLY busted out the physics. I know my jaw must have hit the floor. I suddenly felt quite uneducated.
I won a nice door prize, but one that I cannot use. I wanted to swap it for the cool fleur-de-lis bag someone else won, but the winner of that door prize seemed to like it, sooooo…oh well. Kinda hard to re-gift a teeth whitening kit without insulting someone. LOL I have strict orders from every dentist I’ve ever been to NOT to use even tooth whitening toothpaste because my teeth are super-sensitive and my gums are receding faster than the stock market. Sigh. I would say I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, but at least he would have white teeth! *snort*
OK, delirious from fatigue. I haven’t been ignoring y’all, I promise. A lot going on here and at work, almost more than I can handle. Also found out a dear friend was just diagnosed with esphogeal cancer. I know I need to turn all this over to the Lord, but it is so hard to let go and let God. My daughter is growing up so fast too. She will be marching her first high school halftime show tomorrow night!
OB, I must confess, I shot Mt Dew outta my nose when I read that you were “shat upon” by two birds the other day! Also, when you were at the intersection of 492 and 15, you were 3 blocks from my house. :) I love the drive from here to Lake via 489. I usually take that route to Hwy 80, then take 80 into Forest.
Goodnight and God Bless. Get well soon, Marshall.

  27. OldBopper says:

CLady, I want to go down sometime when she and Mr. H are singing.

My bed ought to feel comfy tonight, although I admit I slept well in the hotel bed last night. Most of the hotel beds feel like cardboard, but the one I had last night was pretty comfortable.

Will do my report early in the morning and email it off, then I should be through until next month.

    Night y’all!

  28. Mrs. H says:

If you look down under the comment box, above where the Post Comment button is, you see HTML codes. Strike is the one for strike-through. to have a word appear in italics, type the letter i inside those little arrow things then type the word or words you want to be italicized, then type /i inside the little arrow things and when you post your comment, it will appear. The / tells it to end whatever command you were giving.

Hmmmm…. I wonder what strong does to a word?

  29. Mrs. H says:

And this morning I’m using Internet Explorer because Chrome and Firefox have blocked MR’s blog on my laptop. I’m wondering if I uninstall them and then re-install, that might work, because I really am not a fan of IE.

  30. dhcoop says:

    Mornin!

MrsH, I’ll have to try to play with that later. I was never quite sure how to work with the tags.

I’m going to head in to work for a little bit, then on to the doctor for my follow-up visit. Hoping to find out a little more info about that problem I had a few weeks back. It does seem to be cleared up now.

    TTFN!

  31. parrotmom says:

Good morning to everyone. IT’S FRIDAY!!!! So sorry didn’t meant to holler so loud. Marshall I hope you are starting to feel some better. Good luck and prayers for you.

Barb I hope you have a good day and that your cold has gotten better also.
