    Mornin!

    Back among the living. I was just a miserable pile on the couch all day yesterday, but feel 100% better today! I feel like I have shaken the worst of it.

    OB, I just laughed at your comment from yesterday’s FFA about what might be said in a moment of pain. Prayers and hugs for you :)

    AnnO—I agree the homework they give should not be a pile as high as the ceiling so sorry you had to miss the diabetes walk this morning.

    I think some mexican food is in my future, it has been two weeks and I am having going through withdrawals. Later this afternoon will head to Madison to visit PD’s brother if all things go well.

    PM: The homework hasn’t been bad so far: they have to complete study guides for next week’s exams. IG3 only had 2, and he finished yesterday: but LilO had all 4 teachers give her study guides, and all hers are due Monday. Plus she had an extra credit report she wanted to do so she could improve her A in social studies. She was up until 12:30 last night, and still has more to do today.

    I still feel like the worst mom in the world.

    Caught up on the week’s FFA’s. Good news is that I have an appt with an endodontist in Flowood for the root canal. Taking Mr Fab so I can pre-medicate-I am dental-phobic (bad!!!) but glad I have enough meds to do it.
    OB, I read your blog about the accident. I told my son and his roommates about it-told them to watch out for bikers, and teeny little cars like mine. They understand-they have lost friends to bike and ATV accidents. Told them if I was the mom of the kid driving the white car, I would drag him out of the drivers seat and kick his @$$ right there. They know I would do it, too.
    Coop, glad you are feeling better today. I came home early Friday, after not working a full day all last week, and will miss a couple of half-days this upcoming week. Not a wise decision, but the tooth was throbbing, and I am hilarious, giggly and a total idiot on Tylenol #3. at least it works!
    Mr Fab cancelled his back injection for last week, but praying he will reschedule it for Wed when I have to have my neck MRI. he can barely move :(
    Going to get the girl-church took the youth for pizza after services. I did wax my car yesterday… WOW. she looks good!!
    Love y’all. And yes Thing 2 is still sitting and thinking.

    nothing as good as a pot luck meal. i always said if i had to choose a final meal it would be pot luck in the south where the great home cooks live.

    Coop, I’m so glad you’re feeling better and Ann, you’re a great mom. Easy Rider, it’s probably a good thing you didn’t try to go to church this morning. Your fellow parishioners might have thought you had come down with a case of Tourette’s syndrome.

    I finished reading Davis Bunn’s “Heartland” and if you haven’t read it, you owe it to yourself to do so. It took me forever to finish the last 15 pages because I had to keep taking my glasses off and scrubbing my eyes. I dreded finishing this book more than any I can remember finishing any others.

    Marshall, I was happy to see that you are going to be a participant in the Minit2Winit benefit for the Mississippi Boyschoir. I was appaled though that one of the participants was picked. This person told a deliberate lie about me that went on my permanent record. I can only hope that they finally raked in enough cash to repurchase their mortal soul from Lucifer himself and vowed to do something for somebody else that didn’t include enormous compensation in their contract.

    evening everyone. We cleaned out the garbage from the explorer and went and vacummed it out and wiped it down. Now my car is the only one that needs vacumming, but am waiting for my oil change so they can do it for me.
    Now time to relax, I have washed my dress clothes but too soon to turn the dryer on or it will be through while putting the parrot to bed, I hope I don’t forget–wet clothes want be any fun.

    have had a busy day. gave the moo a bath this mornig, the went to the diabetes walk. took moo with us. after got home – so tired took a short nap. Moo has been pasted out as well.

    everyone have a good night.. think it is getting time to go pass out.

    Evening folks.I turned into a slug when I got home. Long nap and then I had to take Bear home. He still spends every weekend with us.
