Happy Tuesday!
It’s Homecoming week. Yesterday was camo day. There is a lot of well-used camo in George County. Today is cowboy/Indian day.
I have discovered that Native American is apparently not PC. You can find lots of different cowboy costumes, but none that even remotely resemble Indians. El is wearing a costume that has been in our ‘dress-up bag’ for at least 12 years. Yes, we are a household of girls. The ‘dress-up bag’ has been around since the eldest was about 3 or 4.
nice to have a bag to fall back into MrsH. Glad she was able to find something to fit the occassion.
Good morning to y’all :) Happy Tuesday, may everything go your way. My little girlie girls (cats) were very kind to me, I now have a wonderful case of poison Ivy, Oak or something :) I started on a Prednisone pack yesterday. So hopefully will clear up soon.
Clucky if you check back in tell me is 3 medrol dose packs bad for you. One in May, then July, and now. The NP states this is hitting borderline dangerous and probably want give them to me anymore without allergy testing. If you know the cause why do you have to have allergy testing?

Morning! Flying through. I was able to see the awesome pink fire trucks last night. They made a stop in our community and allowed those who are fighting breast cancer to sign it. It was GREAT!!

C-Lady, you’d think with all the hunters around here, I could have found some turkey feathers, but no one had any. Our minister of music has chickens but El had an “Ewww!” moment when I mentioned asking if any of those were available. : )
LOL! Does she think turkeys are cleaner? All feathers you buy in the store had a “ewwwww” factor at the start. That’s what steaming and putting outside for a day or two is for.
Incidentally, she probably only saw the ones that were at the bottom of the chicken house, those can be gaggy. The big ones, though, are usually lost in the yard, and my chickens run free so I find them in the grass, like you would a turkey feather.
The maintenance guru’s daughter is selling boxes of fruit for an FFA fund-raiser. I started drooling at the picture of grapefruit and took it as a sign!

I always liked working in south Texas this time of year. Texas Ruby Reds = awesome.
I bought them when I was stationed out there. Wonderful when fresh.

It rained all of five minutes here in Pontotoc while ago. Long enough for me to get wet wondering if I’d rolled my window up. I had. Felt like a wet dog.
I poured coffee in my lap earlier today. My damp spot was centrally located!
I’m picturing a poor lil’ wet chihuahua for some reason.

my day has been busy. most the day on the phone trying to get 2 problems solved. Think I got that done but had to talk to about 20 people before it happen. Now to wait and see.
During all of this M texted me from school – some girl was chasing another student with a razor blade in a classroom, then cut a 2nd student.
