    Mawnin’ y’all. Boss drive carefully.

I’m going to Meridian Naval Air Station this morning to get some things but mostly to return some boots I bought during our last trip. They’re too big.

Hope Cardinal Lady and son have a good time at the state park. Wonder if we scared Jennifer off.

I’ll be glad when Wednesday of next week comes so we will be rid of all the political commercials.

Hope all of you have a safe ride in to work today. Will catch up befoe I leave for the eastern border.

  2. Mrs. H says:

The car is blue again!! The paper masking comes off the glass today and I think she can drive it tonight! Hooray!

She says that she hasn’t felt fully clean all week, what with sanding and then painting. Her BF is coming by on his way home from work (in Pascagoula) to see it. Rather out of the way, but they are young!

  3. blues4you says:

Good morning. 06:19 on my sun dial

Will probably be finished late today. If I don’t check in tomorrow. it’s because I’m in transit. Our shop is about 90 miles from here. I’m going there and hope to catch another assignment before going home. Don’t know for sure yet. Ever hopeful………

OB, I had an uncle that was at the base at Meridian for years. He was a Col. in the Air Guard. He was married to my Momma’s sister. They had a very nice ranch just outside of Decatur. I used to help him haul hay when I was in school at ECJC. Have a safe trip.(you and the Boss)

  4. parrotmom says:

Good Wedesday morning!!! Happy Hump Day :) I hope everyone has a great day. Clady and son have fun at the state park. OB safe travels to the east side of MS and Blues good luck with a new assignment after going to the main office.

  5. Barb says:

Good morning!! Safe travels for OB and the Boss!! 7:09

  6. OldBopper says:

MrsH, what’s the word on your MIL?

    • Mrs. H says:

So far, so good. She goes back this morning to have everything checked out and can remove the eye patch. One of her Sunday School ladies wanted to take her (actually wanted to take her yesterday, too, but Sr. Mrs. H preferred Mr. H!). Apparently at least one of her church buddies came yesterday anyway. The buddy’s hubby has the same thing scheduled for next week.

Mr. H was THRILLED that the waiting room TV was set for “Good Morning America,” “Regis & Whoever,” and then “The View.” He said, “No wonder so many women in America are messed up.”

  7. dhcoop says:

    Mornin!

    Save travels all!

  8. msblondie says:

morning gang! Hope all have a good day!

  9. OldBopper says:

Well change of plans. Going to Meridian tomorrow. That way PQ can go with me. I kinda like having her around. ;~D

  10. Legal Eagle says:

Good morning. I made the mistake yesterday of making an appointment for 9:15 in the morning and it screwed up my whole day, having to get up that early and not having time for but one cup of coffee. Note to self: think.

I finished Sandra Brown’s “Tough Character” last night and even though I have 3 more books checked out, I don’t have any interest in reading them. They would make a flat follow-up to Sandra Brown. I would suggest that those of you who are so inclined read Suzanne Collins’ “The Hunger Games,” “Catching Fire,” and “Mockingjay” soon because the movie is coming out March 23, 2012, and it’s going to be hotter than the Twilight series by all accounts. You can see the movie trailer at http://www.thehungergamesmovie.com/index2.html

  11. Airwolf says:

Morning folks! I hope you have a great day

Got two big windows left to clean. I need to get after it!

  12. dhcoop says:

I fixed peas, turnip greens and okra & tomatoes for lunch. YUM!

  13. parrotmom says:

Dang Coop that lunch sounded awesome!!!

I think Clucky was to see a specialist about her neck today I hope she gets some relief.

  14. Mrs. H says:

PM, is your thing still tomorrow?

  15. parrotmom says:

Yes we have to be at the hospital between 9:00 and 9:30 am and that is all I know until they come and take him away.

  16. parrotmom says:

Evening welcome to Parrotmom’s mad house. PD’s children are here. I thought PD was bad about hollering for me. Now I have 3 plus my parrot wanting my attention. I did wow the kids with my new look with my weight loss.

  17. OldBopper says:

Evening. Boule and I rode the trace for about an hour today. Then I came back and took Casper for a ride before oiling the chain. Everytime I think I’m about to get over this broken collarbone, it begins to complain and ache. Nothing terrible, just uncomfortable.

But, I have much more movement and see improvement every day.

  18. parrotmom says:

OB glad you had a nice ride, so sorry for the pain.

  19. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

PM, we’ll be praying all goes well for PD tomorrow. Glad his kids came to see him.

  20. dhcoop says:

OH NO!! I just read where the little boy in the hit and run has died! That is so tragic!

  21. Legal Eagle says:

My little dog has been in misery and yelping repeatedly from time-to-time. She got a steroid shot Monday and is taking a steroid pill and muscle relaxers. She’s having a problem in her neck area. We thought it was from jumping off the bed, but it suddenly dawned on BE today that he thinks its from playing tug of war. She snatches the toy while she’s tugging and he thinks that now that she’s older, he caused it by giving her authritis in her neck. It’s a helpless feeling to see an animal hurt.

  22. parrotmom says:

I agree how sad for the family of the little boy. Prayers for them.

  23. parrotmom says:

Oh ME!! I don’ usually have supper/dinner what ever you call it. That was the best filet mignon, baked potato, and salad that I had. I guess the last time I had something that good was a year ago this past July when I had Prime Rib at a semi formal dinner. My stepson did a great job on the grill mine was perfect. I just wished PD could have enjoyed the food but I know he is enjoying the visit. We now have him on Facebook. It is hilarious him trying to learn and compare notes with them.

  24. dhcoop says:

PM, I’m glad PD is enjoying his kids! That’s great news. Praying y’all have a good day tomorrow.

I’m sorta freaked out about the child that died and the 82 year old that killed him. I’m sure there’s more to that story than we’ll ever know, but it just makes me sick and sad…

I’m gonna go curl up and veg.

  25. dhcoop says:

I’d like to change I’m “sorta” to I’m “REALLY” freaked out. Deeply disturbing. No more news tonight. I’m going to bed.

  26. Clucky says:

I postponed my appt that was for today until next Thursday. Mr Fab had his temp wires pulled today that were in for the trial intraspinal stimulator. It worked wonderfully. Praying we can get it done 11/21, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so he will have almost a week to recover before going back to work.

Im quite interested to see what the neurosurgeon has to say next week, for
    Sure.

So sad about the little boy. Chicklette got wigged out too, Coop. Y’all believe she turns THIRTEEN on Sunday? Accepting donations for basement installation and ammo.

  27. Clucky says:

Clarifying-hope to get the permanent ISS placed Thanksgiving week. For your reading pleasure, go to http://www.poweroveryourpain.com. Impressive system created by St Jude: runs on pacemaker batteries, even looks the same. However with SIXTEEN leads, he will have a battery on each side.
