    What a breezy morning!!

    Hello, world….

  2. dhcoop says:

    Mornin!

    MsBlondie, prayers ascending!

PM, when you check in, I think you’ve been hacked. I got an email from you this morning that just contained a link. I didn’t click on it because it looked suspicious. You might want to check it out.

  3. OldBopper says:

Mawnin’ y’all. Awoke this morning with a fire truck and ambulance at my neighbor’s home. They took him away in the ambulance, but it appeared he was stable. Prayers for him. He’s a fine Christian man and a wonderful neighbor.

Prayers for PD and PM continue.

Get to work today. At least this time it’s in Jackson. Should be through by noon.

    Aw brrrrrrrr!

  4. parrotmom says:

Thanks Coop, That’s great :( How do you go about taking care of that?

Prayers for my family “G” will be driving while her brother is flying high as a “Kite”. Sutpid so and so. He was so messed up at the hospital yesterday afternoon he could not recall a conversation within 5 minutes of having it and it will probably be the same soon. I care/love him but this is a battle someone else is going to have to inforce on him. In which I came down as hard as possible to him the other day without calling the law in which I could very well have.
I told “G” that the next time she say me I may only be able to “Meow or Squawk like a parrot” :) we laughed. My first day back at work was slow for me. I just hope each one gets better and phooey on working the weekends. I should have had support and team work should have helped me out more. It sure wasn’t like I was relaxing on a cruise or nice sandy beach. God forbid that some of the few never are faced with the reality of life after the Love, fun, and games slow down.
Stepping off my soap box and semi pitty party box now. I have to wipe away the tears and be strong.

Happy Thursday to you all :)

I understand, PM. It’s sad how some others are quick to condemn and have no idea what you are going through until they walk in your shoes.

  5. OldBopper says:

Hmmm, I see where IHOP in California is beginning to use the Primos’ concept of non=service where you order and pay for your food and hope you have a place to sit before the food arrives. A couple of times at Primos I have almost been stuck holding my plate and cup while standing up but managed to sit at a dirty table just as the food came out. I quit going after that.

  6. cardinallady says:

Morning! How is everybody near Hattiesburg? I hear the tornado went through Jones County yesterday. I will be afk until sometime around 2 – 2:30 p.m. today. TOYOTA DAY! Gotta run!

    LOVE ALL OF YOU!!

  7. dhcoop says:

PM, still praying for you, girl! On the hacking, you may have to reset your password on the account that sent the email.

  8. Barb says:

    Good morning!
Continued prayers for PM, PD, Clucky, and msblondie’s cousin.

  9. msblondie says:

morning gang! brrr is right. I didn’t want to get out from under the covers this morning.

Prayers continuing for PM, PD, and CLucky ,MrFab.

    Everyone have a good day!

  10. Airwolf says:

Morning! It is a lot colder this morning in my neighborhood.

OB don’t work too hard. I only have one “work” event on my calendar and it is Jan. 2. I’m going to administer the oath of office to one of my judge friends.

Continued prayers for all those in need.

  11. parrotmom says:

I received an email from myself for cialis was yours worse.

  12. Mrs. H says:

MR’s story “The Guardian” brings to mind the tornado that hit Leakesville in April. Our church is almost finished building Mrs. Mae Jewel’s house. I think she’ll be in it for Christmas.

  13. Legal Eagle says:

We’re having our Pearl seniors monthly luncheon today at 11:30 and I have 20 people coming to play bridge at 1:00. I have to get over there early to get the bridge tallys and cards out before the luncheon. What to wear…what to wear…well, yesterday I wore shorts, but I don’t plan to do that today. It’s 45 degrees right now and David Hartman said the high was only going to be in the 50’s. Brrrr! Of course, I remember a lot of times when it was cold for Thanksgiving and then when I was cooking Christmas dinner I would have to have the air conditioner on. I will be AFK until late this afternoon, so y’all play nice.

  14. blues4you says:

Good morning. 10:18 on my sundial.

The project I am on is getting real interesting. Client is down from columbus, Michigan. He’s a big ole 6′ 6″ Norseman that looks like has had many viking ship captains in his lineage. Really neat guy. We’re drilling for science now, not oil or gas. Entirely different world than what I’m used to.

MrsH, saw your Habitat house the other day….nice.

    Prayers for PM &PD.

    • Mrs. H says:

Not exactly Habitat, just some guys from our church putting in time and asking for donations. I am so proud of the work they are doing. A group is putting on a golf tournament this weekend to raise $$, too. About 20 sponsors have put up funds.

  15. msblondie says:

just peeked on FB and saw my cousin is in Germany awaiting departure from there.

  16. dhcoop says:

Just read where a 10 year old girl hanged herself in NC because of bullying. Absolutely breaks my heart! Something MUST be done about the bullying!!

  17. bella says:

Good afternoon, I am glad PM told me how to get to the blog.

  18. parrotmom says:

Coop that is so sad. Blues sounds like interesting drilling.
    Hi Bella Sera :)
MrsH that is wonderful about the house.

  19. OldBopper says:

After “work” I visited with my neighbor. He is at St. D’s and I think he is doing well. They did a heart cath and put in a stint. Sounds like he has stabilized nicely.

Meeting this evening with daughter, future SIL, and his Mom to discuss wedding events over sushi. Hope the place has hot dogs or sumthin’.

My main Yahoo account has been hijacked. Got to get it back but I can’t remember my password which has to be changed.

  20. Airwolf says:

    Welcome back Bela.

PM I got two emails from you, one for Cialis and the other for Viagra-both today!

I hope PD has improved and you don’t have anymore drama! Lord knows you have enough on your plate already.

  21. Legal Eagle says:

Our lunch was really good, turkey, dressing, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls and tea. Turkey and dressing is one of my favorite meals and their dressing passed muster, which is not always the case.

We had a board room full of bridge players today and had a great time. We have a fun loving group of people who enjoy playing and play the best we can, but don’t get bent out of shape if someone bids something we don’t agree with. We just enjoy each other.

  22. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

    Getting a bit chilly!

Apparently, hacking yahoo has become a favorite pasttime for some computer geeks that don’t have anything else to do.

Big Bang is on! Love that show!

  23. parrotmom says:

I figured out it was an old yahoo account that did that considering I had a Cialis email also, LOL!!!!! I changed my password but I should have looked more to see if I could close it out?

I think PD has plateaued (sp) I could not tell any difference since 9:00 am yesterday to 6:00 pm tonight. They did drop the oxygen on the ventilator to 40 yesterday so he may be sleeping more for his body to catch up with the adjustment.

Not sure who may understand this other than Clucky but his hemoglobin is staying between 9.0 to 9.8 it had raised one time to 10.3 after 2 pints of blood on Saturday, but since then when they have given him blood it hasn’t gotten it above 10. Looking at the range 14 is normal for a male his age.
G was hoping for better this evening but they said it would be slow healing and it has only been 1 week.

  24. Clucky says:

Dunno why his numbers keep dropping unless it’s because they are pumping him full of IV fluids, which will dilute his blood volume.

Today (Thursday) was crazy busy, and Friday will be more of the same. I just want to get home before 8pm one night this week! I have so much to get done in the next ten days, even with Mr Fab’s surgery on Tuesday. Once I get the big stuff behind me, I guess I will begin the process of setting up my surgery. I have yet to tell my boss. She’s gonna flip OUT. I think I can get the plant nurses to help cover my LPN while I am out. I really need to be back in the office by the week between Christmas & New Year’s. Since it’s a 3 day work week for us, maybe I can pull it off. The loss of arm strength explains why I haven’t painted Chicklette’s room, even though I bought the paint several months ago. At least I will be able to sew her curtains, etc., while I am home recuperating. Lord only knows what they will look like! LOL!
i got my laptop sorta back up and running-system restore to factory setttings after backing all pics/music/etc onto external hard drive. I’ll tinker a bit more with it this weekend.
If any of you are blood donors and by chance O-, I would really appreciate if you could go by MS Blood Services and do a directed donation for Tom Carson. He’s the band director at ECCC that has esophageal cancer. The radiation and chemo did their job, and on Dec 1, he will have his esophagus and most of his stomach removed; they will then build a new esophagus with what is left of his stomach. He started banking blood today, but there is no way he will have enough in time for surgery. He’s a great guy with Marshall’s outlook on cancer. He was my band director many years ago, as well as Thing 1’s last year. He’s a dear friend.
It’s after 2am, so I am going to try to sleep-those 5 hours will fly by. At least it’s casual Friday! Jeans, here I come!
Love yall…prayers for you, PM. I miss all of you. I will be in St D for my surgery, so feel free to come visit when the time comes!
