Mornin. Almost afternoon. Co-worker called in sick today so I’ve got a ton of stuff to do. There’s a hearing tomorrow morning on one of her matters and she had not started the paperwork, so I’m petitioning and adjudging this morning. I need to be working on trusts. Oh, well…gotta prioritize.
Bella, enjoy your vacation. I took 2 weeks off at Christmas once, and it was so very hard to go back when it was over. Sure did enjoy it while it lasted, though.
Morning! Shivering in for a moment. The temperature continues to drop. I ran by the house and put another log in the fireplace. Tbey say it’s going to snow here tonight. :)

No more doctor appointments for broken collar bone. He said it was healing fine and I shouldn’t have any serious problems with it. I agree totally.
Prayers continue for PM & PD. Hoping AW will perk up and step on out. Prayers for you AW even though I know you old crusty WO’s think you don’t need them.

Incidentally. I can now share something since it is about to be announced officially in the newspaper wednesday. I didn’t get the editor’s job I applied for. But it is okay. My old editor is coming back! :) I am excited about the opportunity to work with him again.

had to run some errands during lunch.. yes it is brrrr out side and still raining. Picked up a gift for M and one for my dad. just a couple more to go and I will be through.. YEA!! I even found so change in the bottom of my purse tha was tossed into the Red Kettles.

Afternoon everyone.
Been in the bed since I got home from work Sat. night. Came down with the crud Fri. night. Had to run some errands for Mother today and I do not think cold and wet helped any.
Prayers for PM, PD, Clucky and Mr Fab.
Decided to do some shopping for me today. Went looking for some new sport shirts. I don’t wear a XXXL or a XXL, or a XL, or even a large size. A medium fits me perfectly. Think they carry shirts that fit me? A bare minimum of choices. Found lots that I like but none of those in my size.
I did the magnanimous thing this morning and walked the dog and fed the cats. Of course, I donned my nice rainproof coat with the hood while doing so.
I’ve been on the phone a lot today lining up the players for our Thursday bridge game. Since we couldn’t play last Thursday so I could ask who would be there this week, it’s involving more calling than usual.
Gee, what a let down. I went to see PD and of course had to wait my time. He was more happy to see the surgeon than me. He grinned the biggest grin I had seen. Once he left it was like ho hum!!!! I guess when you don’t get to see many people a new fresh face means alot. He did move his mouth to say “I love You” to me :) I guess I could be really worried if he would have done that to the doctor, LOL!!!
Sounds like PD is in a pretty good mood!
PQ made some basic Risoto to go with tilapia and green beans for supper. Our first time for Risoto. I asked her what made her decide to make it and she said Giada was always making it on Food Network. It was “OK”, but I told her it would probably be a bit better if she showed some cleavage while cooking it. That’s the little added touch Giada uses.

And you might suggest to Mrs. Callendar that she would sell more dinners if she did the same.
Well we lost power for about 30 minutes. Not sure what happen but there was a load boom about 9. Enertgy was very nice when I called. Was told it was going to be 2 hours but they were quick on it.

OB, you are a MESS!
I made it in from work after 10 last night after a late trip to
Magee. I finished in time to RUN (had 15 mins!) by Hudson’s. I grabbed 5 XS coats (Macy’s stock) at 70% off to find one for Miss Thang. She chose the 2 black ones-1 short peacoat, and the other a gorgeous black waterproof longer one-almost a trench style-but fits her with a little growing room (or a few layers). $200 turned to 60. Love it. Will return the others Thursday. Seriously, ladies…it is worth the trip! I brought home a long winter white too, but it’s too long in the torso-belt around her backside..LOL.
She started getting sick last week at her Dad’s, and brought it home-sinus (maybe strep) and got so sick tonight. I’m still up (it’s 448) and going in to
Work a few hours before MF (snort) leaves for work. If her temp pops 102 or shes still yakking at lunch, we will be visiting the clinic. She is pale as a ghost :(
