Morning friends! Bear had an encore presentation of the Christmas play last night. We had a packed church.

I have to run up to the farm today. Got to move a chest freezer for Mom. I’m glad iy’s empty,

Prayers and hugs for PD, PM, Clucky and Poppy!

  2. Molly says:

Mornin. Enjoy your day off, Marshall.
Kiddo is going to take her driver’s test to get her intermediate license this morning. Mama’s stomach is in knots. Scares me to death to think about her driving alone. She’s a good driver, but still!

  3. OldBopper says:

Mawnin’ again. PM, left a message for you at the end of my last Sunday post.

  4. dhcoop says:

    Mornin!

    Back at work today!

  5. msblondie says:

morning gang! hope everyone has a great day!

  6. parrotmom says:

Thanks OB, will just have to see how the days progress. Not worried about being converted. My stepson and I tried to have a discussion about Episcopalian(sp) all I could remember was not as strict as Catholics.

    • Legal Eagle says:

No, PM, we Episcopalians are protestants. We don’t have anything to do with the Pope. Our communion services are almost word for word, but that’s as far as the similarity goes.

  7. Molly says:

Kiddo got her license. I’m gonna go throw up now.

  8. parrotmom says:

Congrats to kiddo!!!! I hope you survive Molly.

They doc has talked to ENT ok for transfer. They are contacting the primary doc for permission. They also have to be sure they have a bed. I also found out they were planning to send him to a regular room today. I love the way they wait till the last day to tell you stuff like that.

  10. Molly says:

Kiddo got my car about a half hour ago and is out on her own for the first time. I’m very happy for her but still a nervous wreck. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but this first day is hard! Doesn’t help that this is Christmas week and all the crazed shoppers are out. She’s headed to Dogwood. Lakeland traffic is never any fun, even without crazy shoppers on the road.

  11. OldBopper says:

Just make sure she has her cell phone and you have yours….ON.

A beautiful afternoon. Boule and I had a nice ride.

  12. OldBopper says:

Parked beside Smith Park in downtown Jackson today to attend a funeral. The “occupiers” have created a slum where there used to be a pretty nice park. That really made me respect them….NOT.

  13. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

PM, that’s good news about PD getting to a regular room.

Molly, I’m sure Kiddo will do fine!

Clucky, how is Poppy?? I hate to hear he got mugged!

  14. Legal Eagle says:

I had to watch the season ender of Survivor and I was so mad afterwards that I never did get back on the computer. Then I went to play bridge at noon with my new players and didn’t get home until 5:30.

OB, the church dinner sounds delicious. And PM, I’m glad you got your priorities right in eating chocolate donuts, chocolate covered cherried and Diet Dr. Pepper. Sounds like my usual.

  15. parrotmom says:

Evening finally home. PD is waiting for a room at St. D’s. Should be tomorrow :)

  16. Clucky says:

Poppy is here! Doing great, but the thieves cleaned him out. At least he is here and safe! Got crappy news from the neurosurgeon today that makes me want to eat nails and poop thumbtacks, I’m so mad. going to get my girl from a church thing.
    Later.

  17. Legal Eagle says:

OB, Coop, Clucky, et al: I sent you an e-mail about an MRBA family member who is going through a rough patch right now and who needs our support.

I haven’t seen the first statement either here or on FB about the end of the Iraq war.

And did anyone attend Sam Wilkins’ funeral today?

  18. Clucky says:

Leagle, I replied. You won’t like it, but it’s the truth.

There is one gift under the…well, we haven’t even put up the tree. I’m happy for those of you who can pile em so deep u cant even see the tree. I’m just trying to keep the house, preferably WITH the lights on.
